Well, if you didn't declare bankruptcy yet, you can try it now. If you already did within two weeks, you have to wait until two weeks after you declared before you can declare again. It didn't used to be this way, but some people decided to cheat, sell planes to self, then declare bankruptcy to get more planes, so this was put into place.
mr. cantread ... he said he declared bankruptcy and has to wait in his first post.. bravo

okay then it lists but on the public for just over 22.7 mil.... great i will lose a lot of money on this when someone buys it.. but i am curious to how it is more than 50% off and how it says 70 mil is 22.7 and that selling privately means publicly (and i know i entered that stuff right)
so good job ae ... just another fracking bug that is never going to be fixed.
it shows up in the part where i buy the aircraft... and i cannot delist it without buying it.. go figure

How about PACIFIC SUN AIRWAYS???
Look http://www.sim.airli...hp?player=15334
Although he operated, he's another one of those 15230 somethings with tons of A/C sales to show. Who's buying all these A/C over Value???
umm.... I started off in Atlanta and got a fleet of a atr42, a couple saabs, i forgot to buy a couple days and got an A321-100 and a 739.... and had a DOP of 1.5 mil... and then the bugs and the fact i would have to reset my routes every hour to try to maintain my DOP was just enough and i turned in brokering...
Now i am serving as a broker to an alliance and selling my planes at 5-10% extra so that i can earn some extra money, so i can buy better planes for fellow alliance mates
no harm done

In real life you have investors and can start with 65 A319s (look at SkyBus) .
reset every year or two!!! (if you were to actually have it like that)

at least this way everyone has an equal beginning in that thye have simular planes.. oh well not like real airlines start out with a330's .. and the only reason the game survives 10 years is because you start with the littler planes, if you started bigger, you would need resets more frequently due to lack of gates.

and also the only way at this point some "novice" could afford 7 mil is you buy the plane for 3 mil and then sell it for 7, thats about the only way I could see an airline having 7 mil to buy a plane.

you can also make more profit off j31s because of this... you can buy them for like under 2 mil and sell them for 5 mil....

Posted by Pacific Sun Airways on 13 December 2006 - 06:25 PM in Game Discussion (SIM2)
I think the reset should be after the christmas celebrations. Some of you should take a bit of time off and enjoy gifts, wine and snow.
