Last night, after the month went from Feb to Mar and I paid for my gates, I had about $800k left in cash. My DOP was hovering around $387k. Now, on the 21st of March, I only have about $5.1 mil.

By my calculations (20 days x $387k / day = $8,540,000) + 800k = $9,340 mil
and I only have $5.1 mil.

I know DOPs can fluctuate, but that would have to be one huge fluctuation.

What happened?

I thought fuel was factored into the DOP already. Am I wrong about that?

How about gates, which you are charged for at month change?

I waited until after the month had changed and the gates were already charged. The gates being charged (plus buying more gates) is what took me down to $800k at the beginning of the next month.

By the 21st of March, my balance sheet showed a profit (after fuel, more gates I bought, payroll, depreciation, etc.) of over $6mil but my cash was only $5.1mil

ur DOP probably fluctuated more than you thought... I've had DOP drop like 300k before more more before i came into a broker.. or you are forgetting some details or your exact starting amount of money...

either way dont complain, im missing 50 mil from a stupid bug in the plane selling... actually wait i am missing 70 mil, i never got the 22 mil, someone else did because of the bug.
-tried selling plane for 70, listed for 22mil, and for somewierd reason it accounted the sales going to another airline.. stupid bug
