Yes. I did. But since it auto-updated, .psd is crashed. I've been looking for solutions here.

Is it possible to download an older version (for example 4.0.10 stated above) from the official source?

Well i know this thread is a little old but i just try to make my first livery with paint.net following the tutorial and i can but with little success:
So i have no a problem but 3 problems:- don't know how and where find a logo for the tail and if i get even don't know how change the colour.- can't paint the nose i try to do but don't have the nose layer- the blue stripe is in the background tooSomebody can help me please?
Select the layer with the stripe and select it with the magic wand(Shortcut: S). Go to the layer where the body is and select mode invert 'xor'. Click the body and you should only have selected the part of the strip in the back of the airplane. Go to the layer where it is and erase it. For the nose try to make a layer above the body and under the details(doors, windows..) and then color it.

Sorry for restarting a really old thread.
When I open a psd file on paint.net no layers appear. How do I fix this?

Have you downloaded the PSDPlugin for Paint.Net?
