Sekilas info S1 (Air France, Singapore Airlines) dan R5 (Japan Airlines, Qantas).

Sebelumnya memang belum pernah main dari Day 1 World, jadi baru pertama kali ngalamin. Mix experience, ada yg gampang, ada yg susah.
Dari awal memang sudah bertekad se-realism mungkin. Jadi hanya memakai armada sesuai dengan airline ybs sesuai dengan jamannya 1990an.

Hasilnya:

S1 - Air France
Relatif gampang. So far cukup sukses. Posisi Top 10 di S1.
Resep: AF dengan armada Euro City Hopper A320-200 (real armada). Gates di Europe memang mahal, tapi demandnya tinggi sekali, jadi gak rebutan sembako kayak di Indonesia. Baru sebentar aja DOP udah hampir 10 juta. Expansion ke Middle East route and Eastern seaboard America juga asik-asik aja (CDG-JFK) sangat yummy pakai A330.

S1- Singapore Airlines
Nahhh, ini dia tricky. Karena mau main realism, awalnya anti pakai A320, karena SQ gak pernah pakai narrow body jet. Berhubung tahun 90an SQ masih pakai armada A300 (Celestar armada) dan B747 (Big Top), awal-awal nekad main wide body jetliner. Awalnya ambil bond bisa survive, eh datanglah competitors yg pakai A320.... Struggle sekali karena mereka berkembangnya lebih cepat, rute-rute gemuk cepat habis demand nya, dan lead time dapat kiriman pesawat baru lama banget 6-8 weeks.
Yahhh so far masih bertahan, tapi terlempar dari 100 besar .....
Karena udah nanggung salah strategy dari awal, yasudlahhh jalanin aja - konsekwen dengan realism
SIN - CGK dan SIN - KUL adalah rute buangan habisin sisa hours :D target 100x weekly


R5 - Japan Airlines
Rute Japan domestik sungguh asikkk, Haneda - Kansai bisa 2000an; Osaka - Saporro bisa 1000-2000 an. Pantas banget kalau di Japan, airlines domestik pakai B747-Domestic combo, karena rutenya gemuk bener. Belum lagi regional area di China, PEK, PVG, rich demand.
So far JAL, belum masuk 10 besar karena banyak invest pesawat, 1 bulan average buang 20-30 juta datangin pesawat baru XD very soon akan masuk top 10

R5- Qantas
The worst. Demand domestik AUS sangat jelek dan kurus. Paling banter SYD and MEL :disgusted: Sisanya sampah. Ditambah competitions, wah susah dapet DOP.
And the worst thing, untuk terbang ke luar negeri paling dekat cuma NZ, itu pun demandnya biasa aja.
Kalau mau ke Asia, terpaksa harus main long range AC yang nota bene mahal.
Main realism, Qantas juga gak pakai A320, tahun 90an masih pakai 737-400.... SYD - PER gak nyampeeee :lol:

Telsa.Fly(Telsa Syariah) resmi membuka perang terhadap Cicak Terbang dengan membuka rute CGK-SIN dengan 747-400D. Menurut CEO untuk rute CGK-SIN "tidak apa-apa rugi selama bisa menyingkirkan cicak terbang di sektor CGK-SIN"..Cicak terbang sendiri melakukan persaingan tidak sehat di rute CGK-SIN yaitu membuat harga tiket cuma 1$.


Hahahaha Cicak sebentar lagi akan di delete dari S1, udah minus 71 juta. Kayaknya ybs iseng aja udah gak mau main di S1, rute nya cuma SIN-CGK 157x weekly pakai Tupolev. $1 mantappppp ..... SIN-CGK dari dulu itu memang rute busuk nya AE. Ayooooo Tesla, saingan dong $1 juga ...

kira" IFS berpengaruh jauh gak ya ke demand pax? saya klo nanti ada world baru mau buat airline baru dengan IFS yang dimentokin semuanya.. pokok nya kualitasnya saya pasang paling tinggi semua, gak pake harga.

nah yang jadi pertimbangan itu sih diawal"nya.. takutnya nanti income nya jeblok... ada saran?


Nah ini dia nih yang jadi polemik di AE. Ada airlines tertentu di AE yang meng-claim sebagai high quality airline dengan IFS bagus, IFE lengkap, leg room lega tapi ternyata tidak terlalu pengaruh ke income kalau harus bersaing sama airline "low quality". Apa pasal:

1. AE versi ini dirancang dengan prioritas Lower Price. jadi apabila ada airline butut tanpa IFE dan IFS memakai lower price, maka high quality airline akan lose out. Setelah harga, yang menjadi prioritas kedua adalah frequency. jadi jangan heran kalau lihat ada rute short range yang bisa lebih dari 100x weekly. So, yang mempengaruhi demand adalah PRICE dan FREQUENCY

Contoh:
Airline butut - CGK - SIN price$100 - 70x weekly
vs
Airline quality - CGK- SIN price $105 - 21x weekly.
maka airline quality pasti akan kalah


2. IFS/IFE hanya akan berpengaruh apabila kondisi seri dalam hal price dan frequency.
Contoh:
Airline butut - CGK - SIN price$100 - 70x weekly
vs
Airline quality - CGK- SIN price $100 - 70x weekly.
maka airline quality pasti akan menang; DAN si airline butut kayaknya harus turun harga jauh untuk merebut demand kembali

Legroom, On time performance hanya akan berpengaruh pada route reputation. Dan sialnya route reputation juga gak terlalu berpengaruh sama demand !!! * ini saya juga kesal

Intinya AE versi ini memang banyak kekurangan, tapi mendingan seperti ini daripada tidak ada AE sama sekali.

Saya juga pernah protes ke Yuxi. yahh tapi begitu deh kenyataannya. Janjinya di AE berikutnya akan banyak perubahan dalam hal ini. Termasuk demand long range vs short range dsb.

Coba dibayangkan, CGK - LHR, airline butut tidak pakai IFE/IFS, legroom parah, harga lebih murah $50 daripada high quality airline seperti SQ lah yang IFE/IFS nya keren, legroom bagus >>> hasilnya airline butut yang menang. Ini kan tidak mungkin sekalipun di dunia nyata.
Coba naik pesawat 15 jam ke London gak pake IFE dan gak dikasih makan ... :lol:

Ahhh itu mah orang gak jelas, dimana mana ada komen dia. Isinya juga gak simpatik, bikin BT bacanya. Kalo kalian mau bikin alliance lokal pasti saya ikutan dah. Tapi di world berikutnya. Kayaknya Rdelta udah pada malas urusnya. Saya cabut dr Indo, pindah ke Jepang Rdelta, market udah full tapi udah 2 minggu saya hajar rute2 mereka tetap gak ada respon. Artinya udah pada gak diurus tuh.

Saran saya di setiap rute domestik Indo jangan sampai overseat lah. Kita bikin limit flight per day biar gak rusak harga.

All National Airways sudah cabut dari pasar domestik Indonesia. Tinggal sisa CGK untuk international capital routes; MES untuk ASEAN & China market; DPS untuk AUS&NZ. Domestik dalem? beuhhh tidak menguntungkan, bikin sakit mata lihat profitnya kecil, padahal armada pesawat 737-800NG yang gress.

sekarang Garuda Indonesia mendominasi pasar dari CGK...

saingan Fly.Telsa(ORD):JetBlue sama Pacificwings...Jetblue ekspansi cepet banget sampe" Fly.Telsa harus order 737-300 dan 400 tambahan guna mengisi kekosongan gara" A321-200 baru bakal datang akhir tahun 1996...bahkan A330-300 yang masih ada jam tersisa dijadikan wajib militer... :( ..setidaknya untuk merespon Jetblue sekarang sudah order 40 A321-200(akhir 1996-september 1998),5 A330-300(udah komplit,mau tambah 5 lagi),10 A340-200,15 737-300(Akan ditambah jadi 20),5 737-400(Akan ditambah jadi 10),sama 2 747-400(bakal tambah jadi 5/10,datang April 1996)..sedangkan sudah direncanakan kedepan bakal beli sampe 10 A330-200. :P

sedangkan saingan telsa.fly adalah Garuda Indonesia,gara" GA telsa.fly harus mundur dari sektor CGK-BKK,DPS-BKK,dan CGK-SIN. tapi telsa.fly bergerilya melawan GA dari tempat selain CGK... :D
hingga sudah dipesan/datang 10 A320-200(Komplit),15 A321-100(8 sudah datang),10 A321-200(akhir 1996),5 A330-300(sudah datang 3),8 A340-200(bakal tambah sampai 10,datang April 1996),10 ATR72-500(April 1997),5 ATR42-500(Launch customer,juli 1997),dan 15 Fokker 50 buat ngisi kekosongan(dari 15 sudah datang 3)


Ini di S1? Hahahaha rute ASEAN mah cuma dijadikan rute dumping hours. Buat iseng-iseng aja sekalian mematikan airline baru. SIN, KUL, CGK, BKK, DPS mah bisa sampai ratus-ratusan flights per week (total), lama-lama harga tinggal $1. Biar bubar semua.

LEGROOM.

Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan reputation adalah dengan Legroom improvement. Apakah ada yang sudah ketemu % terbaik untuk mendapatkan legroom masuk level hijau (at least) tapi tidak mengorbankan pax atau profit terlalu besar? Saya sudah coba decrease A330-300 yang asalnya 440 pax full menjadi : 12 (F) 24© 272 (Y) ---- total tinggal 308 pax. Artinya max capacity tinggal 70%. Tapi belum hijoooo juga .... dan daily profit juga amblas karena penumpang makin dikit.

Ada saran atau ada yang sudah berhasil?

kan kasusnya masih remember, barangkali sebetulnya masih ada aircraft yg terbang ke sana tanpa disadari...
kalo ternyata emang udah clear nggak ada penerbangan ke sana sementara slot masih ada, langsung lapor aja ke developer, pasti nanti ada tanggapan...

Don't match the ticket prices with "reality", match them with other competitors, or adjust them until you have 100% LF if you fly the route by your self.

Maximize your A/Cs daily utilization, reach 20 hours per day if you can. And also maximize your gate utilization, I saw your gates other than CGK and DPS are still low in utilization.

Oh, one more thing, B737 a little bit expensive in term of fuel consumption, I prefer to use A320.



OK siap boss ! My aircraft utilization average rate is 19,XX hours already. Need to let them rest for few hours a day.

Add another 737-400 today. I have leased 4 aircrafts so far. Not so much of Airbus fan. In real life, I prefer to fly with Boeing, especially the new 800 NG series. That would be ANA future fleet will be for domestic market. And Dreamliner 787 for international mid range destinations.
Well, stop dreaming now, ANA is just trying to survive at the moment.

PRESS RELEASE.

Jakarta, 25 Jun 1998 - It was early in the morning and the sun had not fully risen yet but there was a lot of commotion going on at Soekarno Hatta International airport last Thursday, precisely at Terminal 2G. As can be seen, there were reporters from local tv news and media gathered to be the first one to see the latest and the most anticipated aircraft in the aviation history to arrive.

Yes. Boeing 737-800NG was here finally. After months of speculations and rumours, finally All National Airways (ANA) had finally secured the deal with Boeing Corp to be the FIRST one to fly this highly sophisticated flying machine in Indonesia, as no other airlines had used this model.

Precisely at 06.22 hours, this sweet machine with registration number PK-RPX touched down at CGK airport east runaway after flying on its maiden delivery voyage from Boeing's headquarters in Seattle, USA. Totalling at 22 hours flight with stop over in Honolulu, Guam, Biak and finally Jakarta.
The excitement became more intense as the bird smoothly glide upon the tarmac and finally taxing towards ANA terminal while the arrival was saluted with double water canon to welcome this addition to ANA fleet.

The 737-800NG is the model to replace the 737-400 and 757-200 series aircraft in airline service; it burns 850 US gallons (3,200 L) of jet fuel per hour, or about 80% of the fuel needed by an 737-400 on a comparable flight. For ANA version, the plane is configured in 6 abreasts for economy class, 2 abreasts for business and first class. The interior will be lit with automated illumation lighting for maximum comfort ambience. All classes will be equipped with the latest ANA World in-flight entertainment system, all will be free of charge to all classes regardless route and distance.

Acccording to the CEO of ANA, Mr. Georgius James, ANA will gradually replace its 400 series armada for regional haul in the next 3 years. Currently, the airline will receive another aircraft in the forthnight, each to be based in Jakarta for South East Asia route and in Denpasar for Australian route, and the airline had already an option to have another 8 units in the next 3 years with purchase options after 5 years.

"We have strucked a good deal with Boeing, and the between us and the aircraft manufacturer had established extremely good partnership since ANA was conceived one and half year ago. As a new airline in Indonesia, it's imperative for us to be cost efficient yet have a very high standard of safety, service and satisfaction to our loyal customers. That's why ANA only have Boeing aircrafts. Our armada will be fully dedicated with Boeing high tech to achieve economies of scale", Georgius James added.

With the arrival of 737-800 NG, aviation enthusiasts can expect the maiden commercial flight from Jakarta to Denpasar on 01 August 1998. Tickets are on-sale at the airline website and the prices will be bidded. The revenue of this maiden flight will be donated to charity.

Boss, i have a problem.

I have emptied all my flights at KMG and CSX, and intended to return them.
BUT
After i closed all flights, it showed that i still used 3 slots --- 47 slots remaining.
That means i still have 3 flights somewhere in my aircraft.

After checking one by one, i cannot find any.
Then i remember that those 3 flights were dutied by my old leased aircrafts that have returned to lessor.

Now i cannot close the gates at all.

Any help or suggestion what to do?
