As for Talon, what colours do you have in mind, and what is your current fleet? (no point putting the livery on a 737-300 if you operate 737-800s!)

Low frequency? I understood ULCCs to usually have high frequency on routes?

EG EZY  flies about 6 times a day to Gatwick from my local airport.

Because you put in 7, they are mad - they expect more.

I'm not entirely sure, but as far as I know you'll want to put in the average or more, and wait for the morale to recover.

Also, be aware that many just put 7 in, as it seems that the price to hire 15% of your staff every month is lower than paying higher wages...

You probably should add more flights for a start. 50 aircraft sitting there means 1) 50 aircraft to pay maintenance on 2) 50 aircraft to pay lease on. 3) 50 aircraft earning no money.

YYZ-DXB in an EK 77W. Was exhausted after about 11 hours... nearly fell asleep on approach.

I've experience managing airlines -- I turned Borrusiar round from near bankruptcy to huge profits. I'm operating an airline in S-3B, and fix days after starting, I have orders for 165 aircraft, mostly 737, and 50 Q300. DOP above 4M / day.

Basically, earn money and it will go up

Don't worry about maintenance. If you have enough DOP, maintenance is nothing - maybe 5% - 10%. Just fly one type of aircraft until you have at least one million income every game day -- that will save you a lot of money on maintenace. 

To get DOP, fly one aircraft type on a flight near maximum range as much as possible. I fly 55x a day to Vienna which was the first flight which I got above 500K / day on. 

One other benefit is that you get connecting passengers at hubs of both your own airline and other alliance members.

Say you have a hub at MIA and xyz airline has a hub at CCS. You can fly your flight to CCS, which will get extra passengers because other passengers "connect" onto your flight at CCS.

Buy one fuel efficient aircraft with good speed and range to begin with. The 737-300 is a good one for that. Then, take out the maximum possible bonds in the Finances page and then lease as many as possible of that aircraft. Then make routes with no competition and good profit.

I am making over 500K with 55 rotations DUB-ZRH. To make lots of profit, get a profitable route and add as many frequencies as possible. Then increase the prices until load factors fall below 100% -- when they do reduce prices by $25, $10, $5, $1 until you get 100%. That will be the most efficient price. You will have to redo that if another airline comes onto the same route.
