The airport cannot repo any gates that you own as part of a terminal. Furthermore, you cannot get rid of them if you want to.

The problem seems to be, my aircraft can't do the route return in enough time yet the same aircraft for another airline can. (I have the fastest engines) maybe I'm missing out on something else? :puzzled:

Are you sure the other airline isn't doing a 1-way?

edit: also, have you tried making the route from the a/c screen instead of the routes screen?

look at your passenger data. It should show a connecting factor. You need to have a real presence in a city for it to make an appreciable effect. If you have 20 gates used exclusively by 100+ seat aircraft you might see a 10% increase in people. 5 gates at a large airport used by Q400s would be a waste of money.

do route research first. It may not pay very well. You can check by going to http://www.airlineem...fo.php?city=abj

replace the abj with any airport code to see flights to and from that airport.

Right, the 2 per month per airline is certainly in effect, but it looks like anyone with two aircraft on order will get both (so there is no backlog).

That is all. A lot of the bug reports this round have had vague titles (such as "I found a bug!") that don't let people know what the bug effects. Most users don't go through every single post, so if they need to report their bug, they won't read your thread.

Not sure if you've been reading any of the other threads, but basically. the new used a/c market is full of bugs. Thanks for the report, though, hopefully when miller has time to debug the market this will be helpful.

Yeah, it was sim2. I didnt expect it since the new round just started. And the gates were being fully used. Strangely, I'm still making money with no gates.

What do you mean? Are you just getting money from no where? Is your airplane still flying the same route (despite the lack of gates)?

Buying isnt or seems to be ok, its selling thats a problem.

If you list any B1900 you originaly received, it will say it is valued at $9m and 0 years, when its 5-yrs old and value is $5,931.734

So, this new used market will take the extra funds from your account as it viewed you sold it too low in value. Being a script BUG in the market value.

Well starline bought and said it didn't quite work out as planned.

I've had another -180,000 show up on my finance sheet this month (despite no transactions).

The new market script seems pretty messy and unpredictable.

Just experienced something similar.

For testing I've placed a bid for a B1900D at $7m. Well, good thing is I instantly received an aircraft, but did not pay the $7m I've bid, but roundabout $9m (the undepreciated value of the aircraft) putting me slightly into the red (had about $8.9m.). The ingame message said I purchased the aircraft for -180k. This would equal about 2% of the undepreciated aircraft value. Unfortuantely I don't remember the demand factor of the B1900D at the time of purchase to be able to say if it matched.

When listing the 1900D it referenced the 9 million price (and said my plane was 0 years old). I also got a 180,000 dollar loss on my finance page for last month, despite not conducting any used a/c sales for that month. Has anyone had a normal transaction? Have there been any other failure modes? Has anyone gotten a good deal?

I listed my 1900D for $6250000, and was told "There was a matching bid for your aircraft, and it was immediately matched. You sold your aircraft for $-4,590,000.00."

I was given about 3 million. Boooo.

You haven't seen a lot of airlines ordering the 747-400 in the last 10 years. The 777-300 and A340-600 have eaten away at the bottom end of the segment while the specter of the A380 has eaten away at the top end. All of these aircraft are more modern and more efficient, and I think the game reflects that.

Now I do agree that the game is not perfectly balanced in some respects. Some aircraft have unreasonable seating (A330-300), which leads to undue popularity. The ability of aircraft to fly to their max range wit ha full payload also unbalances some, too.

FWIW the 738 and 739 both would have 4 F/As in the seating capacities used in the game.

The problem is that the thread title didn't have anything to do with used aircraft, so I tihnk people can be excused if they skipped it. At any rate, Jay, we just don't know. The new system has been implemented without much of an explanation.

make sure to recalculate when on the research page. When you first enter new info it will give you random BS numbers. Also not sure if it takes into effect competition?
