Hello, first off I just wanted to say im new here, I'am Michael Ward, I live in Boston, MA, and I'am 15.

My question is what is Sim 2? I know sim 1 is set back in 1946, but is SIm 2 in present times? If it is how do I get to it?

yes present time... and just sign up for it like you did with sim 1... sim 2 you start 5mil and 2 beech 1900d's or j-31's each carry 19pax, but go with 1900d's make more money... its quicker and is cheaper to fly...

Also, just so u know, Sim2 may be adjusted time to time, since Miller, the AE developer, is working on updating and improving features in Sim2 to the benefit of the overall game.

But nevertheless, enjoy sim2 and may u succeed with ur airline. :D

Ok, thanks everyone.

I started an Airline and started off with 2 B1900D's.

My Airline name is PeopleAir, I currently own 3 B1900D's(I bought another one)

Anyway, I operate mostly East Coast flights, im think about expanding to the The central US.

Once again, thanks for the quick and helpfull response's.

If I created a log-in for Sim1, can I use that log-in for Sim2? Or do I have to create a totally different profile with a different e-mail?

Thanks!

Sim1 and Sim2 are two different servers and thus use different logins.

Though, you can use the same airline name, username, and email address to sign up.

All the best, and if you want to join an alliance, check out the Worldwide Alliance! =)

- Advance.

Advance, dont try to advertise ur alliance all the times. I dont do it, so why should u? :D

And yes, ull need to register for sim2 even though u have a sim1 account. This is due to the fact that sim2 is different to sim1 and dont share the same user database i assume. Of course, Miller did copy that database from sim1 to sim2, when launching sim2, but that was ages ago. :P

Thanks, guys.

I did try creating an account for Sim2 using the same log-in name and e-mail as Sim 1. It told me that name and e-mail address had already been taken. Oh well . . . . . . . .

You shouldn't need to create a new account. Your old name and password will work for both.
