Greetings I'd like to request a livery.

Airline Name: Vesta Airways
Airline Country: Based in MSP, US
Colour Preferences: Dark Blue(kinda like southwest blue) and white fuselage
Any Key Design Points?: Nothing to complex, I'd just like something similar to the Qantas livery with blue instead of red. And on the tail part where the kangaroo would be I'd just like a fancy letter "V" that fades off the tail like the original livery. And instead of the name qantas I'd just like "VESTA"
Aircraft Type: a321(winglets), 787-9, or cs100
Need Logo: If you could use the Vesta symbol and the colors blue and light gray to make something that would be great.

Hope that isn't to much to ask for. If you could help me that would be much appreciated. Sorry for any grammar mistakes.

Also, if you finish the livery could you make a second one with only one small change. Where on the Qantas livery it would normally say spirit of Australia, I'd just like the word orient. So on the the side it would say VESTA orient so to be used for my Korean based subsidiary.

Okay, seriously. I just started a brand-new airline, barely did ANYTHING, and I have 207,500 DOLLARS in expenses ALREADY?!

What happened here was either gate cost for home airport or first aircraft lease.

Here's four easy steps from my experience with spamlines.

1. Forget any sense of realism you may have.

2. Make sure to have a fleet of 3000+ by ordering as many aircraft as possible, particularly wide-bodies like 747s so that you can use them on 200 mile flights. 

3. Max out on seat configurations. Leave as little legroom as possible in order to have more capacity on your routes.

4. If you see a route that you really don't need that already has a lot of competing carriers, drop as many flights as you can on that route, 20x daily, 24x daily, it doesn't really matter and lower your price.

 

Follow those steps and you're good to go.

The problem I see is that this would render the R worlds full of spam, which are (somewhat) protected from it currently. Basically giving airlines the go-ahead to fly like an Open world. There would have to be ways to limit the amount of 'foreign' routes that carriers could buy into. However, I do like the idea as playing in an R-World can sometimes be frustrating when trying to emulate an airline such as Delta, United, or even carriers like EVA Air that have flights from other cities.

I think the best way to seperate this from open worlds is to make it so that airlines can only fly from outside their country if an alliance partner has a hub at a the airport that you want to fly from. (Kinda like United with ANA at tokyo NRT.) And I also feel like what Geminijets 30 said could work in conjunction with this, where home countries get priority passengers.

Although the problem with this might be alliance partners competing with each other.

I like this world idea. I'm a new player just as you are and I've always envied spamlines. I always wondered why anyone would want to make an airline with the sole purpose of crushing other people's chances of building their own airline. And I always cringe when I see an airline that has like 5000 aircraft and hubs at every airport. It would be great to see how this world would play out, but I have a questions.
How would your HQ be chosen for airlines that are the product of a merger? Like american, delta, and united.

That sure is a lot of aircraft. You should be more considerate to the livery makers and not request so many and you should know that some aircraft don't even have templates (good ones at least)yet. And why is an Egyptian carrier called America sea?

Actually the question was misinterpreted. I was asking which type of airline players(In AE worlds) do people hate the most, but a couple people answered with real world airlines so I just said, eh What the hell.

But ultimately the question is in the forum.

You know what's ironic, I just opened this exact same route in another world.
It's possible because of runway requirements.

The a350-800 (which is what I used) and the 747-400d can also fly from SNA in AE.

Having a HQ at either MDW or LGA is pointless unless you're a regional carrier.

Actually depending on the age you're in you can make MDW work. LGA not so much. If you use the Boeing 752 you can operate routes from MDW to Europe. I've also used the 752 to do flights from kahului (OGG) to large US mainland airport's.

Probably just want to be the launch Customer for the aircraft. And let's not forget that airlines actually operate this variant in the real world, so some players might be imitating these airlines.

It's a good concept, but it's not realistic, although AE does have unrealistic worlds like the no leasing, and the one hub, and the no political restrictions world.

This concept would be better of with its own world, rather than the current "realistic" worlds.

I send him a letter saying to stop stealing my routes but he hasen't reply. I told him that if you keep stealing my routes and gets my aircraft profit in the red that I will try to add even more planes to the route until hes is gone!

That's all there really is to it. I've had nearly six airlines competing with me on a route from IAD to EWR which were two of my biggest hubs at the time in that world, and I was going negative about 60,000 dollars on 4x daily 717 flights. Then out of nowhere, this airline called Trump air (obviously a troll) comes in the route and drops 2x a320s for half the price of what everyone else was charging. At that point I was already losing about 100,000$ so I charged about 10$ economy and put 20x 738s and in about two days real time 4 of the airlines were out and the other two removed some flights, and that's when I raised the price again.

It's annoying but it's a simple fix.

Color preferences: Think of the new KLM livery, but the blue part would vary between between 3 colors being a light green, Orange, and dark blue. The word Acadia should be where it says klm. And I want the tail logo to be a capital letter A with the same color as the the upper fuselage.

I don't remember the exact configurations, but if you have a 5 star IFE and a 3 star IFS in the sandbox, it's the cheapest way to pull a green bar IFS rep in the route page.
