#259488 This might be worse than $1 spamlining:

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 12 January 2018 - 01:27 AM in New Players and Questions

Why not? If the game is ending in a week why shouldn't I order 50,000 Islanders or helicopters with deliveries into the 22nd and 23rd centuries? (I have no more further to say.... edited by Maestro69)

12 game years.

I think the best way to take down an emperor is to launch a coup d'etat, but good luck doing that on his server.

He is flooding routes... maybe that's subject for a ban?

There are only 2 listed "game rules"

Here is one of them:

  • Multiple airlines owned by the same player in a world cannot be used to give an unfair advantage to each other (selling aircraft to each other to get around delivery slot limits, flooding routes together to gain market share, etc).

#268476 All Time AE records?

I looked much better before they knocked the good parts off my statue.

Statues can't run empires. You lied to us.

I think this self-proclaimed emperor is actually a trumpet player.

#268478 Inflated Spamlining by Artificial Demand [ISAD] | Declaration of Rights and G...

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 20 May 2018 - 11:12 PM in General AE Discussion

Check our trophies. We have won multiple rounds in limited-airline worlds.

We have also won multiple rounds prior to adopting ISAD strategy, relying on the green pax strategy dubbed "realistic" here.

We find the "realistic" strategy more boring and repetitive than the ISAD strategy. Winning basically involves avoiding megaroutes and concentrating initially on shorter routes with higher price-per-mile-flown. It was as easy to win with that strategy as with my current ISAD strategy.

Most of us players here play by mostly realistic ways. You and your "empire" represent the "barbaric scum" that is trying to overthrow the entire community into chaos. If you find this game boring to play without exploits, please find another game to play. I doubt that you would be anything if airports have hard traffic limits restricting aircraft movements anyway.

1. No s***.
2. No s***.
3. No s***.

You are trying to justify your arguments about real-life aviation vs a free online game. Did you know how many hours and money someone needs to spend to create a free online game to fit your demand?

Also, you are trying to force people to play realistically even though the game doesn't have any rules about what kind of airlines you could run. After all, it's not cheating, otherwise, the Moderators would have banned the practice or the players who've done it

They said that they had to upgrade their servers to handle the spamlines.

The game owners are having to spend IRL money so a handful of exploiters can tell everyone else that they are slaves.

Does this sound like its against a rule? Maybe more than one?

#268609 what would be the easiest country to operate out of?

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 23 May 2018 - 09:56 PM in New Players and Questions

America, there are some very obscure airports that only very few people operate to, such as

-LaGuardia (takes some knowledge of geography and a rather early start)

-Burbank (its also LA, ya know?)

-Chicago Midway

-Charlotte (sometimes)

-Tampa

-Clearwater

-Spokane

-San Juan, Oakland, and San Diego (sometimes)

-Sacramento

-San Antonio

-Indianapolis

-Greensboro/Durham

-Nashville

-Memphis

-Richmond

-Louisville/Cincinnati/Columbus/Cleveland (all in a nice straight line)

-Des Moines

-Kansas City

-St. Louis

Just pull out google maps and do a quick scan.

#264502 What is your favorite aircraft in the game?

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 21 February 2018 - 12:04 AM in General AE Discussion

Mine is clearly the Boeing 757-200/-300, with a generous max range and capacity while still being small enough to operate to smaller airports, and being cheaper than widebodies and some narrowbodies. Nothing really comes close to replacing it until the 737-900ER or the A321NEO, both of which lack the capacity of the 757.

#259705 Small airports for big cities

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 13 January 2018 - 11:39 PM in New Players and Questions

Going out of US, we may think about South Korea, China and Brazil.

In South Korea it is usual give exclusive attention to Incheon Airport, but also in Seoul there is Gimpo, the second largest airport in the city. And you might get some profit in Jeju Airport as well.

Moving to China it is also very very common Beijing Capital be the center of attention. Of course, that is a huge airport, anyone can deny this. But you will have a large profit if you look for Beijing Nanyuan, an airport that the most don't care, but is as large as Ningbo, for example.

And last but not least we have Brazil. You should not go to Rio in your first flight to Brazil, because the brazilian largest airport is located in Guarulhos (GRU). Then we have Galeão (in Rio) and Brasília (which is the country's capital). Pay attention to these tips and you're gonna get better in AE.

In China there is also Tianjin Binhai, which is about 150 miles from Beijing and is also a massive city.

#259296 Small airports for big cities

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 10 January 2018 - 01:59 AM in New Players and Questions

Okay... let's all admit it: None of us really fly JFK > LAX and expect no competition. However, most of us can benefit from smaller airports located in larger cities. I'll share some of my favorite "smaller" airports for the "bigger" cities:

- Burbank-Hollywood (Amazing substitute for LAX)

- Toronto Billy Bishop (short runway, though)

- London City Airport (ditto)

- Charlotte Douglas (98% of the people on AE don't know what it is, and 2% don't care.)

- Dallas Love Field (Everyone knows Fort Worth, why not give Love Field some love?)

- El Paso (everyone forgot what it was)

- Richmond (It's a pretty important city in Virginia. Might be the capital. Just a slight chance that it may possibly could be the capital.)

- Manchester (London gets all of the attention, very few people operate to Manchester.)

Fell free to share some of your favorite "smaller" airports for the "larger" cities.

P.S. If you own a "godzilla" airline and plan on spam the **** out of smaller airlines that are starting up, why not spam on some of the more popular international routes, such as Newark > Heathrow or London > Dubai. If you really feel that airlines that operate a single flight with a single leased plane is a threat to your empire, then you are a terrible person. There is simply no other way to put it. A baby that lost both legs in a car crash is abandoned on the street by his parents. What do you do? Kick him in the chest. Spamming unpopular routes flown by baby airlines is the same thing in this game. Why not make an alliance (or invite them to your alliance, there is a messager function) and give tips to the baby airline? Why make enemies when you can make friends?

P.P.S. That was a bit of a rant, and I am sorry for that.

P.P.P.S. wtf does p.p.s and p.p.p.s. even mean? Post-post-post scriptum?

Never start at LHR, JFK, or LAX. Just don't even think about it.

#259310 Small airports for big cities

i operate in Billy Bishop with one of my Airlines. The A318 is the most big plane that can operate there.

The A318 is a beast. It is like an oversized CRJ fuselage with an A319 wing and engine... oh wait...

#259300 Longest Distance and small pax

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 10 January 2018 - 02:09 AM in New Players and Questions

If you got 757s from 2005 and before, you should use them on medium-demand transatlantic routes that the A321s cannot reach to.

#259307 Longest Distance and small pax

I once successfully did that on a route between Antalya and Newark using an all-business class layout.

British Airways does A318s from JFK to LCY in an all-business class layout IRL.

#264654 What’s the perfect IFS?

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 23 February 2018 - 01:44 AM in New Players and Questions

I use a free 5-star IFE that loses money for my airline with a scam IFS that earns money for my airline, and the IFS earns more than the IFE does but still maintains a relatively high IFS reputation.

If you are a scamline, charge max price for the worst products. If you are looking for quality, have zero charge on the highest quality products.

#259219 Spamlining

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 08 January 2018 - 10:17 PM in General AE Discussion

Hold on... let's look at these stats for a quick second:

747-400DD minimum runway distance: 4,973 feet.

CRJ-200LR minimum runway distance: 5,347 feet.

747-400DD maximum seating capacity: 660 passengers

CRJ-200LR maximum seating capacity: 50 passengers

Yup, this explains why those "godzilla airlines" are spamming my regional routes with 747s.

#264629 Is higher fuel flow better?

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 22 February 2018 - 09:54 PM in New Players and Questions

Lower fuel flow also gives you more range 9 times out of 10, depends on if you are going to use the plane for shorter routes or longer routes.

Mr. Emperor Dude..... why does it say that you were in the top 10 8 times but in the top 3 10 times and in the first place 10 times?

A 10th place trophy isnt given out when you get top 3 - only one trophy will be given for an airline when it finishes

Okay, thanks for clearing that up.

#259218 747-400DD is a spammy aircraft

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 08 January 2018 - 10:13 PM in General AE Discussion

Does anyone else here think that the 747-400DD should be nerfed a ton? Its minimum runway distance is 4,973 feet, which is shorter than the CRJ-200LR's 5,347 feet, but those "godzilla" airlines tend to spam my routes with them. I don't understand why a 747 would possibly have a minimum runway distance shorter than a CRJ.

#265227 B737: 800 vs 900 |

Posted by mastacheifa118 on 04 March 2018 - 02:56 PM in New Players and Questions

It appears that the 737-900 was certified to carry the same amount of passengers as the 737-900. I recommend just waiting until the -900ER comes out or go airbus.
