FlyBE had made a great turn around, its a shame Monarch are struggling, but they will make it. Its looking to be quite stable in the UK at the moment.
Who will go bust next?

Some would rather BE bankrupted ... Also, what do we think about VLM (left CityJet)?

SpiceJet nearly went bust recently. I can see Air France eventually losing the market. They are being slammed in the gut on heir asian and australian services especially. They can't compete with Easyjet either. Singapore airlines will make them bust at some point.

The FSC carriers are mostly having to create LCC brands to compete with the LCC carriers. BA is somehow surviving with Cityflyer doing only UK services.

How exactly have you worked that one out

Right. And Alitalia will become profitable and Lufthansa and Delta will simultaneously bankrupt.
Oh, and Air Zimbabwe? Becomes 5-star airline.

Never say never, Garuda Indonesia became a 5-star airline quite recently.
It seems almost like yesterday that Garuda got ridiculed for its s***ty service and got banned from flying in the EU for being essentially terrible maintenance wise.

Air France will never just go under. They may have a major restructuring, but even that seems unlikely. State ownership combined with being the flag carrier of the worlds 5th largest economy pretty much guarantee that they won't simply disappear.
On the topic of Alitalia, Etihad's 49% stake in them means they have many years to restructure and figure themselves out. Who knows, maybe etihad can use the same marketing genius that makes people think the UAE is a nice country to visit

Following SAS will be interesting, espicially now that they have made Red1 from the remains of Cimber. They need to start to be able to make a profit, I doubt the governments will be willing to bail them out much more.

I would say Sriwijaya Air. They wanted to transform themself into Full service airlines with business class seats and full meal for domestic flight.
Garuda Indonesia would probably go bankrupt in the next couple of years.

Oh wait, I didn't see that one. I would say Austrian Airlines, Alitalia, Swissair (Again), KLM, Air France and Aeroflot. Yes, all of them, thanks to Emirates/Etihad/Qatar and Ryanair/Easyjet/Wizzair.
