Mine is my current airline in R3 with 1632 in fleet and over 400 on order, but for me it is becoming increasingly hard to control the airline and do all of the route pricing etc.

My biggest was 342. Consisting of 61 Q400, 78 Cseries, 20 A319LR, and the rest I can't remember.

And the main question remains: What is the point of having so many planes?

You could easily get 10000 Trislanders after all (of course, with the $$$)

It gives you a darn ton of cash. Also, efficiency is more important than size of fleet. You all know that based on the formula FF/Pax , then dividing the speed by the result doesn't give a very high result for the Islander, or Trislander for that matter. For turboprop, a good score is above 7.5, the islander has a score of 1.6. Optimal fleet size would be around 300 aircraft, however, keeping track of competition starts to become a tough job.

In O2 playing as Ritz Air I have 9600-plus planes and climbing and I am ranked #5 and am very close to gaining the number 4 spot.

 

Number 3 ranked Crashair in O2 has over 20,000 planes, but a lot of them are smaller planes.

The largest I've ever SEEN is well over 100,000 belonging to at71eb or something...

Largest was 700 aircraft (100 A380s, 100 A330s and a shitton more, all Airbus in O2 a few years ago. Currently American Aqualantic has 270 planes.

My largest fleet is 255, with my current airline Royen Airlines.

My largest is with my current airline in R6 with 884 and 157 on order. It was just at around 1,000 but I've been replacing a lot of ERJs. On my other airlines I usually level out at about 200.

I'm pretty sure past a certain point most people don't check their routes, they just make sure their DOP is in the green and make routes that only make 40k with 34 A320s. Alot like what i do.

Currently in R4 California Pacific i have 3026 and 198 on order all owned none leased.

I think I own about 1900 in R5 right now, #3 in the world, lots of widebodies

Biggest I got on my own was about 110, but my R2 airline, now run by Wolf, has 1560.

I appreciate that this is an old post but he's simply being extraordinarily intelligent and his is a step ahead of more or less everyone on this site. Ive worked out how to do it but I'm not in any open worlds, my large airlines are in France so I'm pretty restricted.
