Have somewhere near 1250 all-owned in R1. Average utilisation is around 19.70< . I'm in 3rd but this guy from Taiwan is catching me-fast and so is this Air China. I don't understand how they're growing faster because I'm far bigger than one of them with way more daily passengers and way more daily distance travelled and I utilise me planes more. My average load factor is around 95% for economy and nearer to 100% in business and first class. I don't understand how they are growing fasterHave 886 aircraft in the current R1. Would have had about 1000 or more but I didn't need some of them so they went to the used market. All owned and utilised for 19.40 hours on average and I'm worth over $66,000,000,000 and I'm in 6th place closing in on 5th but I won't get any further than that and someone will probably pass me out before I hit 5th anyway. The airline is 14 years old now. (It just got lucky)

Maybe they have less competition and hence get to charge higher fares?

Well, the demise of the latest Aurora Airways happened when I got too cocky and ordered 20 B732Advs, 10 B752s, upped my marketing, gave my employees pay raises and bonuses totaling over one billion upfront and an extra $300K a month. And then I went to bed I wake up and my airline was in deep debt .
no, I am cheap - I set all of my Median Pay Rates at $7 and the Reserves at 0%
also I stick to (at most) 3 or sometimes 4 aircraft types (A320,737, 737NG) though sometimes I will add in the 757's:
(I buy any version of these used though) as I operate my airlines as "point-to-point" (Southwest type) airlines
A318 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5B8/P - 2,839 mi range (A320 Family) only if for sale on used aircraft market

A320-200 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5A1 - 2,689 mi range (A320 Family)
A321-100 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5B1/P - 2,346 mi range (A320 Family) only if for sale on used aircraft market

I dunno. It's either China Airlines last S3-C round or China Airlines this Ra round. I don't remember the number of planes S3-C had, so I will just state the amount of planes Ra has.
Currently, it's 1016 however, by the end of 1985, I will have 3233.

The most I got up to was just over 300 with Swissair after that there is not a lot of space left to grow. I did get to 250 owned planes with united airlines in the 1970s but then I order too meany and went bust, but the IFS was 5 star.
