My largest was with AirItalia Airlines in the last R3, before I went bankrupt I had around 20 727's, 30 A320's, 12 747-300's and 15 Boeing 757-200's. All owned.

Correction-Rdelta AirItalia had nearly 230 aircraft, 120 A318's and nearly 40 A330's, mixed in with A380's, 747's, 767's and A340's.

Once ranked N°1 on one of the R-servers with 2,200 aircraft. Eventually closed it down as it was too much work to replace older aircraft. Got to 4-5 hours per day on AE and decided it was too much.
Always aim high !

Have 886 aircraft in the current R1. Would have had about 1000 or more but I didn't need some of them so they went to the used market. All owned and utilised for 19.40 hours on average and I'm worth over $66,000,000,000 and I'm in 6th place closing in on 5th but I won't get any further than that and someone will probably pass me out before I hit 5th anyway. The airline is 14 years old now. (It just got lucky)

Have somewhere near 1250 all-owned in R1. Average utilisation is around 19.70< . I'm in 3rd but this guy from Taiwan is catching me-fast and so is this Air China. I don't understand how they're growing faster because I'm far bigger than one of them with way more daily passengers and way more daily distance travelled and I utilise me planes more. My average load factor is around 95% for economy and nearer to 100% in business and first class. I don't understand how they are growing faster

Maybe they have less competition and hence get to charge higher fares?

About to hit 200. Airbus for short-haul (A380s for long haul and high-density) and Boeing for extra long routes the A380 can't reach.

Well, i think i have 3-4 airlines over the pas 2 years, where i had a fleet of around 2000-3000 aircraft... but at that point, it just gets boring and repititive and i cant be bothered going any further.

Well, the demise of the latest Aurora Airways happened when I got too cocky and ordered 20 B732Advs, 10 B752s, upped my marketing, gave my employees pay raises and bonuses totaling over one billion upfront and an extra $300K a month. And then I went to bed  I wake up and my airline was in deep debt XD .

no, I am cheap - I set all of my Median Pay Rates at $7 and the Reserves at 0%

also I stick to (at most) 3 or sometimes 4 aircraft types (A320,737, 737NG) though sometimes I will add in the 757's:
(I buy any version of these used though) as I operate my airlines as "point-to-point" (Southwest type) airlines

A318 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5B8/P - 2,839 mi range (A320 Family) only if for sale on used aircraft market
A319-100 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5A4 - 3,243 mi range (A320 Family) only if for sale on used aircraft market
A319-100LR w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5B - 4,800 mi range (A320 Family)
A320-100 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5A1 - 2,164 mi range (A320 Family) only if for sale on used aircraft market
A320-200 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5A1 - 2,689 mi range (A320 Family)
A321-100 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-5B1/P - 2,346 mi range (A320 Family) only if for sale on used aircraft market
A321-200 w/ 2 International Aero Engines V2533-A5 - 3,019 mi range (A320 Family)

737-300 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-3B1 - 2,044 mi range (737 Family)
737-400 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-3B2 - 1,913 mi range (737 Family) only if for sale on used aircraft market
737-500 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-3B1 - 2,183 mi range (737 Family)

737-600 w/ 2 CFM International (GE Snecma) CFM56-7B18 - 2,788 mi range (737NG Family)

I dunno. It's either China Airlines last S3-C round or China Airlines this Ra round. I don't remember the number of planes S3-C had, so I will just state the amount of planes Ra has.

Currently, it's 1016 however, by the end of 1985, I will have 3233.

The most I got up to was just over 300 with Swissair after that there is not a lot of space left to grow. I did get to 250 owned planes with united airlines in the 1970s but then I order too meany and went bust, but the IFS was 5 star. :D
