This is horrible! Its pretty amazing how the two largest aviation crashes this year are both with the same airline! But, who in their right mind would fly an aircraft over such an area, when though it wasn't officially restricted at the time. It was only a few days ago that a transporter cargo plane got shot down, if a commercial plane was to fly over the area it is inevitable that it could be mistaken for a military plane

Hmm, this map below shows the flight path of MH17 on Thursday compared to the other flight paths it had previously taken on that same route.
Maybe an altered flight path could have unfortunately been a factor and a huge mistake?

Wow, its a tough one to decide. I am going to vote for number 3 because its clean, sleek and modern, however I would like to see it reworked with number 6's tail, which I actually really like! I also have to say the design for number 1 is very sophisticated and a tough decision, but I like that it has the slogan included. Maybe that could also be reworked in the number 3 design?
So, yeah, I vote number 3,

Yeah I also heard that a few minutes before MH17 (20 minutes or so) a Malaysian Airlines A380 also passed very near the exact position of MH17 when it was shot down.

I like this idea and support it. This will definitely clean up some forums and make it easier for new players to post airline sharing requests in the right forum to avoid confusion and therefore stop of posting in the incorrect forums.

I don't see a problem with this proposal, it seems it will only benefit the forums in terms of organisation and making role play more effective for such topics that are active and would actively use a separate forum to enhance their activities.

I cannot wait to see the new Etihad livery.
I saw the tail on one of their A380's on the production line when I was in Toulouse in July and it looks pretty stunning by any standards, should be rolled out in October this year by my watch.

EU and NA region theme worlds have the advantage of drawing from a large number of regional airports, something which Africa and the middle east for example cannot. Asia would have to be more defined: Will only the far east be included or India, Australia as well?
I believe Australia would fall under the 'Oceania' option
