I picked other so this is what I think could be a possible world. The west coast of American and the east coast both going into the midwest. That could be interesting and east coast and midwest of America to Europe.

North America wouldnt be good because it is an appropriate place for spamlines to mate. XD

Throwing spamlines together isn't a bad idea. Maybe as an S3-D it would be nice. African, Canadian or Europe only rounds would be a heap of fun!

Nah man, Africa's the way to go. If we're doing a theme game, the theme should be something interesting and exotic. Like Africa.

EU and NA region theme worlds have the advantage of drawing from a large number of regional airports, something which Africa and the middle east for example cannot. Asia would have to be more defined: Will only the far east be included or India, Australia as well?

I dont get this idea. Basically having a world for 1 region to play out of? That would create massive spam and even more unrealisticness

I would rather this be implemented through private worlds.

If a player has earned enough credits from a fair and definitive manner to start a private world, he should be allowed to configure it according to his ideas.

 Thats very costly though, you should have to pay for private worlds.

I would go for Europe if the game will be the same as it is now. I would only include Africa and maybe South America if cargo was added to the game as these regions' regional airports are primary used for cargo transport. But alltogether it might be interesting to operate a purely Gran Caravan fleet. Certainly looking forward to it!

I'm getting confused here. Is this regional world restricted to flying within the region or restricted to headquartering within the region? I fully support the former, enhancing regional flying. However, the latter seems pretty uselesss, as after all nothing changes besides the fact that it lacks competition from the other end.

Perhaps "private world" is a bit misleading, next time I'll use the term "custom world", which could be implemented free (I posted in another thread before).

Actually, to deal with the 'US problem', why not trial this with a US Domestic only world? Imagine for a moment that the rest of the world doesn't exist (not very hard), and there you have it. Lots of opportunity for competition and spamming while really zooming in on one region.

 

You could probably have a small world for this, say 50 to 100 players.
 

(Also, about custom worlds, why not have 'miniature' worlds where a group of players could apply for a very particular, very small, game. For example, five players could apply for a ten-player 1985-2005 domestic Australia and New Zealand only game, where they can only have one hub/terminal and cannot operate more than four families of aircraft across two OEMs.)
