#211324 Willing to join R1? Some nice locations.

Posted by AlwaysBenevolent on 04 April 2016 - 04:14 PM in General AE Discussion

I'd be interested what The Flying Cow pays its employees and how it compares to the rest of R1.

#211336 Willing to join R1? Some nice locations.

Posted by AlwaysBenevolent on 04 April 2016 - 05:54 PM in General AE Discussion

Let's dance to celebrate another off-topic post! :dance3: :dance2: :dance3:

Now, let's go to any route we operate, let's click on the "Route finance" tab and let's see Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Ground Crew costs.

Have your realized how much employees expenses represent out of the total expenses to operate any given route? :rofl2: there's a bunch of other KPIs that one should focus much more than Payroll spending, as Payroll is not the "make or break it" element, sweetheart... :shifty:

Darling, actually the topic is "Willing to join R1? Some nice locations". As you've already stated previously you offer "tickets at fair prices". However one aspect one should consider in this business simulation game is how well you treat your employees. It's an ever growing issue in the real world with some countries offering better working conditions than others. Furthermore employee moral plays into your employee rating as you probably know. Airlines aiming for max. reputation could be interested in things like averages wages, or at least I am.

I was genuinely interested in your human resources policy. Unfortunatly you seem to have failed to recognise this.

#216468 Best Livery Designer of the Month Award!

I may have missed it, but who decides who the "winner" is?

#216497 Best Livery Designer of the Month Award!

Shouldn't it be up for votes from the general forum folks? Might be slightly more objective that way?

#209654 (Players Beware!) Is There Such Thing As Extreme Competition?

Outlast the competition or go down and see them triumph.

EZY does charge a premium these days though. They're becoming more expensive

Yeah EZY isn't that low cost crazy, RYR however is actually behaving like some of the players that are setting ridiculously low prices.

I think going with brands would make more sense too.

#210420 Stop Whining

Posted by AlwaysBenevolent on 22 March 2016 - 09:40 PM in General AE Discussion

Agreed, perhaps maybe there could be a sort of "punchbag" forum in which frustrated individuals can vent their anger and disappointment. That way they can still relieve themselves of anything that is causing them grief without taking up too much space in the wrong sections.

#210482 Stop Whining

Posted by AlwaysBenevolent on 23 March 2016 - 09:46 AM in General AE Discussion

From other posts it seems that whining is mainly gaining popularity accross and interestingly similar profiles of users, I would say mainly those who still have a veeeeery long learning curve ahead of them.  I'm sure that a red ballon or an ice-cream would relieve them from their grief much faster than the "punchbag" forum :icecream:  :awesome:

Ice-cream ... :woot:

#210519 Stop Whining

Posted by AlwaysBenevolent on 23 March 2016 - 08:43 PM in General AE Discussion

PS: As long as the cash sitting on the airline's balance sheet does not generate any kind of interest for the airline, business wise it's also common sense to keep investing in planes and making them fly because as long as they are in green your return on capital will be higher than just having your money on the airline's account doing nothing B)

Agreed.

#224129 Why do people spamline?

Posted by AlwaysBenevolent on 27 September 2016 - 02:55 PM in New Players and Questions

The delay part already flows into the reputation rating and is taken into account.

This game is a simulation with passengers that behave the same way for everyone who plays it. Work with them and deal with it.
