Since this is considered Real World Surface Transportation, I'd like to know:

I'll start off:

800px-Porsche_Turbo_S_2013.JPG

1. The Porsche 911 Turbo (All Models except the 996, we will not talk about that.) - Nothing says heritage like the 911 Turbo. Strong racing history since it's debut in 1963, the 911 has proved its worth in the numerous races it has tackled from The FIA GT series to its wins in its class in Le Mans to your local Sunday races at the track. It's creamy Flat 6 Boxer Engine provides all the power you need from the Rear axles to propel that monster forward. It's styling is something beautiful, it moves into the future, yet remembers its history.

800px-MiuraP400S1968Fro.jpg

2. 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400S - One of the most beautifully styled vehicles that this earth has ever seen, the Miura comes off as a dream. From it's release in 1966, the (then) latest birth of the raging bull was an instant classic with its distinct Bertone styling.

800px-Lancia_Motor_Club_AGM_July_2011_DS

3. The Lancia Beta Montecarlo - The Pininfirina designed Montecarlo housed either a 1.8 Straight Four, or a 2.0 Straight Four. The car was known for its Racing Career. It won the Group 5 1980 World Championship for Makes, and the 1981 World Endurance Chamipionships for Makes.

I have more, but it's quite a lot. So let's see yours. :P

Daytona Superbird.

I cant post pictures.  But Google or look up Daytona Superbird.  I remember when it hit the streets. in 1970.   And its as close to an airplane as any car can get.  The reason it was made is the Daytona 500 race required real  production  cars to be in the race.  Plymouth made 500 of these to meet the  race requirements . And  it dominated the race for 3 years.  it was quite a scandal at the time.

Oh yes, I know this. I also love that car, though I am not much of a muscle car fan. It's one of those cars that are simply irresistible.

Mark 1 Golf GTI looks amazing. In the modern era I must say Volvo are my favourite. Never been a fan of SUVs.

Both of my modern favorites are technically Fiats, but that doesn't mean I can't love them!

First off, the Alfa Romeo 159 is, I think, the best looking saloon car ever built.

RTfSQkk.jpg

And secondly, the Maserati Gran Turismo is the most beautiful car on the road.

black-maserati-gt.jpg

As far as classics go, I think the E34 BMW M5 is as timeless as designs come.

bmw-m5-e34-15.jpg

Also including the Volvo 164 because how much more adorable can a car get:

You can't get a better looking electric car than this! The most expensive and by far the best of electric motoring (0-62 3.9 secs, 125 mph top)

As much as I like the roadster, I'll have to go with this sexy beast; the Tesla Model S P85D!

2015-tesla-model-s-p85d-first-drive-revi

691hp engine, dual electric motors, 4wd, 285 mile range, semi-autonomous driving mode, 17-inch center console display, optional 7 seater version, highest crash test safety rating ever and 0-60 in 3.2 seconds for something that weighs almost 5000 pounds!! Tesla, with the Roadster and Model S are spearheading an electric revolution in the automobile industry!

It costs nearly as much as the roadster (£77000!). Plus, it doesn't have an engine, the motors combined produce 691 bhp!

From what I've heard, the Roadster was merely a test/experimental vehicle to try out the new battery and electric motor technology; a precursor to the Model S. The Model S on the other hand is Tesla's first attempt at mass producing a vehicle and MY GOD IS IT EVER WORKING WELL!

Then why are they selling it?

People who want a fun electric sports car will buy it. It's still considered a "production"  vehicle, but not on the scale as the Model S.
