#199585 Your Favourite Cars

Posted by airshark95 on 06 June 2015 - 06:41 PM in Real World Surface Transportation

Then why are they selling it?

People who want a fun electric sports car will buy it. It's still considered a "production"  vehicle, but not on the scale as the Model S.

It costs nearly as much as the roadster (£77000!). Plus, it doesn't have an engine, the motors combined produce 691 bhp!

From what I've heard, the Roadster was merely a test/experimental vehicle to try out the new battery and electric motor technology; a precursor to the Model S. The Model S on the other hand is Tesla's first attempt at mass producing a vehicle and MY GOD IS IT EVER WORKING WELL!

You can't get a better looking electric car than this! The most expensive and by far the best of electric motoring (0-62 3.9 secs, 125 mph top)

As much as I like the roadster, I'll have to go with this sexy beast; the Tesla Model S P85D!

2015-tesla-model-s-p85d-first-drive-revi

691hp engine, dual electric motors, 4wd, 285 mile range, semi-autonomous driving mode, 17-inch center console display, optional 7 seater version, highest crash test safety rating ever and 0-60 in 3.2 seconds for something that weighs almost 5000 pounds!! Tesla, with the Roadster and Model S are spearheading an electric revolution in the automobile industry!

#197537 Airport Projects and Architecture

Posted by airshark95 on 28 April 2015 - 02:09 AM in Real World Aviation

Great thread! I absolutely love airports as I find solace there. Both of my passions are in harmony; aviation and architecture

Anyways, here's this awesome project for the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Slated to be part of the Phase II of the airport development, the new passenger terminal will handle up to 15 million passengers a year.

Anyways, here's the video link:

#196941 help with livery/logo for airline please

Posted by airshark95 on 17 April 2015 - 02:09 AM in Designer Showcase

Thank you for your feedback. It's an honor for me for having a designer like you as a critic (no, really)

1. Could you be more specific? I guess your and my definition of effort is different

2. From which aspect did you see that this doesn't count as an "actual livery"?

3. A what?

Thanks and have a good day

3. one of my templates

#196927 Soar Airlines

Posted by airshark95 on 16 April 2015 - 09:12 PM in Logo / Livery Requests

Wow! Simple but very professional looking!

DUDE THAT'S AWESOME I think I have found my logo and livery maker. It was literally what I had in mind  :D

Thanks! :)

Well as promised, here is the new livery for Soar Airlines (2010-Present). I decided to keep the colors and the curve motif from the old livery, but I gave it a new "twist". As for the logo, I kept the font the same and I modernized the bird logo. Hope you like it!

Posted by airshark95 on 12 April 2015 - 07:49 PM in Logo / Livery Requests

Alas, wait no more! Here is the livery. Seeing as Soar is currently in 1997, I went for something a litle more contemporary for its time, yet still relatively modern. I'm going to make a new one (around 2010 and on-ward) that's more modern and trendy.

Hope you like it! :)

Ok, be nice guys  :hmmph:

You really need to work on your skills my friend. If there's any constructive feedback I can give you, it's that you need to follow these following steps:

  1. As Mr. Unknown said, consider getting a program like Paint.net or GIMP (which are free), or even Photoshop if you can.
  2. I highly recommend you use a good base template for your liveries. There are many users on AE which have and are willing to share templates: Ivan C, Runway 25L, Medivation and even I have a wide rage on aircraft templates we can share; just go the the AE gallery and browse through the many templates available. Or you can go to Jetabout, download the kit and make your own (there are template making tutorials in the Livery Design forum).
  3. Go to the gallery and look at other the liveries made by other users. See what the liveries look like, draw on inspiration from them and real-world liveries. The best liveries are the ones that look legitimate and possible in the real-world, but are creative enough to stand-out from the rest and merit admiration.
  4. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Not all of us were design geniuses when we began; heck, look at my old work! Never give up, listen to the feedback from other users (they may be harsh at times, by diamonds are forged in fire and great pressure), do research on livery and graphical design, get inspired and YOU WILL GET BETTER

I hope you will take this as valid advice my friend. Keep working at it, ask if you are unsure and ignore the people that call your work utter sh*t and give no critical feedback (you guys know who you are  :sly:). Your at the the first step of what is a fun and challenging road of graphical design; don't let a crappy first livery ruin it.

#195715 Airline giveaway: R0

Posted by airshark95 on 26 March 2015 - 09:39 PM in Airline Takeover / Shared Control Requests

I am currently growing and airline called Canadian Airlines in R0, but do to stuff I need to handle in my personal life, I no longer have the time to manage it properly. I have tried to manage it as close as I can to the real life airline (CP Air --> Canadian International Airlines) in terms of aircraft types operated and it has since grown to become a major canadian airline in R0.

I don't really want to shut it down and waste all the time I spent in building it; I would much rather like to give it away to someone. The airline has a healthy income and is currently ranked at 74% rep. There are about 20 jets on order and I was in the process of expanding international operations. There is A LOT of competition within Canada and a lot of management is needed to reset routes so they are profitable and they better compete with rival airlines.

As for anyone who is interested in managing Canadian Airlines, you can do what you want with it, I wound't mind it that much if it became a spam airline or if you continue managing it as if it were the real airline  :)

Also, Canadian Airlines is the airline heading the Fusion Alliance (it has 3 members).

Here is Canadian Airlines: http://ae31.airline-...3r0&player=1720
