Let's start with my new favourite airport. Queen Alia International Airport. This airport newest terminal is completed in March 2013. The main characteristic of this terminal is the roof that was inspired by Bedouin tents and is composed of 127 concrete domes mixed with modern steel and transparent glass wall. The new airport received the "Best Airport in the Middle East" in 2014 award by the Airport Council International. Usually I'm not really fond of raw concrete because it's reminded me of brutalist architecture used in my country, but this one is an exception. This project is designed by Foster + Partners.
