Sorry to bring up a dead argument but I think Farnborough should get airline services again. It has a nice terminal, a long enough runway to land /takeoff an A380 and a great nearby hotel. It would be great for me, as I live 1 minute from the airport so great spotting opportunities. Shame the biggest I ever see is a 737 BBJ or A320 ACJ. :(

what issue and what page?

 

i have alway said that Boeing count get rid of them so they offered them to Lufthansa for nothing. I thought it was suspicious since they also have the airbus A380 and Boeing 747s that they don't plan to phase out just yet

Latest, August 2013, issue on Page 16 under Lufthansa go green. "Lufthansa said that their new 747-8i's could be pahsed out by 2020"

When I flew with them they only had the older MD.80 series aircraft. Besides they only have 6 757's and a couple of A320 most of which are stored.

I read in Airliner World recently that the German flag carrier is going to retire its 747-8's by 2022. Seriously, what's the point in this? Why would you spend so much money on a plane as big as a 747 and spend all those fuel bills when you're only going to operate it for a maximum of 9 years. It'll never be able to repay itself.

I thought Allegiant were very poor when I went to America. Ancient aircraft, you actually do have to pay for everything and they constantly try to con you into buying more stuff. They're even worse than RyanAir. Best LCC's have to be SouthWest, JetBlue or easyJet.

No the MD11 is horrible. The only good looking trijets are the Trident or TriStar.

How do I install. It's not showing in FSX and his readme is confusing. Also, my FSX menu bar's are totally blank as can be seen in the attached picture. How do I fix this without a total re-install as I don't have FSX Disk 1

Sorry  but I just cancelled a bunch of TriStar leases. There were too many too keep up with. I also leased some 757's for shorter range operations.
