These are my suggested airports, I seriously did try to find the annual pax counts for each airport. However, I don't know where to find it and had no luck searching for it on my own. So if this wastes your time, then I apologies up front about it.

Not sure what report your reading, but Brest in 2007 got around 870k annual passengers (and thats according to the ADF in France). I added into the game because it may make some money... but it will never be a goldmine. Probably do well from the big 5-6 airports in Europe...

I was using the World Airport Traffic Report 2006. I'm too lazy to search other sources for non-Asian countries unless its a special request from another player.

And thought u were just doing US fish?? i mean, i already did Europe over a week ago. ;)

For the runway updates, pax # updates yes I'm doing US.

I'm taking requests and doing additions for new airports worldwide though. Some of these are special requests, some are places of interest to myself... mostly Asia but I also do or will operate in some other places.

I'll check into these later tonight and edit this post. I know some are too small just off the top of my head but not sure about all. Thanks for the detailed research... pax #'s are hard to find sometimes. The airports own website is easiest to find usually but its not always there.

I got all the Chinese and Japanese ones already as that's my personal area of interest. Gold Coast and Hobart have also been done already as well as a few of the others. Darwin is in the game already... but honestly these little 1M & 2M airports in Australia won't be very profitable if at all since Sydney, Brisbane, and Melborne just aren't big enough to support them well with the current LF script... In the interest of staying with the 1,000,000 limit I'll still do the first 2 mentioned in Oz.

Looks like you've done a great job though and I'll be using a lot of the others in the next set I submit to Tobias. Thanks!

:-Bang I understand your point, but it still falls pretty short of 1,000,000. Using Maestro's numbers for Brest, it'll have a gate rent of about 78,500. Please try a couple of routes to airports with a gate rent between 78,000 and 79,000 and let me know if you are satisfied with the results. The LF script in the game clearly doesn't always reflect real world results either on the top or bottom end. Maybe someday it will... but we're not there yet.

Adding Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao, Philippines would complete that country's list of airports with at least 1m pax/year.

Airport Information:

IATA: DVO
ICAO: RPMD
Annual Passengers (2007) - 1,534,264
Rwy Length: 9842'
Latitude: 7.125522
Longitude: 125.645778

Closest Airports in Sim2

Manila - 597mi
Kota-Kinabalu - 664mi
Bandar Seri Begwan - 752mi

I just tried to operate Melbourne to Hobart and it says negative cash. Operating into and out of Hobart would be profitable, seeing as Hobart is the premier airport in Tassie, and is a popular tourist destination.

I did miss it, thanks for the reminder.

RAK is already in the game. I'll check into Oran.

I can nearly assure you that you won't be making money on it from Algiers but probably from BCN, MAD, FCO, CDG, etc.

:-Bang Sydney gets more annual pax than Melbourne and Brisbane comebined. Try using Sydney as your gateway to these small airports. It also may not work with the 19 seat aircraft... in past rounds when I was doing hubs to small cities I usually had more success with ATR-42's or 328's on these routes. Even still... like I keep saying, the LF script isn't perfect. The distances in Australia are far unlike Europe for instance and just becasue these airports work in real life doesn't mean they can work in the game until the LF script is given a full rework.

Hilo is by far the least used of the big Hawaiian airports and gets quite a few less pax than OGG, KOA, or even LIH. We can try it, but because of its remote location the only airport to use it from is HNL and I don't think it'll work. We'll see, I'll put it in my next update.

I actually did consider DVO when I did my last submission with all the new Asian airports. I can add it but I don't know if it will make money or not. I think HKG is the only hub that you'll be able to even potentilally make money on one that small but due to the distance from there we'll see. I don't see MNL supporting it until the LF is reworked. As you see, CEB gets about double the annual pax but isn't really used in the game, its too small for its distance away from an airport large enough to support it.

Did you try to use any of the links to the CAAP webiste by the way? ;) I eventually go to it from google... Everytime I'm in the Philippines I have to wonder how that country continues to function... this website is just par for the course... The pax & cargo data link is there but its dead.

Actually I looked at Oran and I think its just too small. Its well under 1,000,000 annual pax. I'll reconsider smaller airports later if the 1,000,000-1,500,000 sized airports do much better than before with the new numbers.

How about MidAmerica Airport in St. Louis? Almost 1m people per year go through there annually - okay more like 377 total commercial operations in the last 12 months according to their 5010. Well, that notwithstanding, since Allegiant is stopping the last remaining commercial service from that Airport next month, maybe it can at least live in Airline Empires. Bad joke, and sorry to waste space in the forum, but it was just sad to see it when I drove by a few weeks back and think about what it could have been.

Thanks for adding DVO.
