just wait, the more wait, the more fool proof the system will be. The more rush, the worse of a job is done on it.

Hi everyone, I'm new here, but frustrated that can't start having a go. Is there any chance of knowing when abouts the new member registration will be enabled again? It would just be good to have a timescale, is it a matter of a couple of days, or more like a week, or perhaps even longer?

we do not know, probably soon, but just be patient ... the longer it is, the more guarantee it will not break down and stop again.. so just wait

Ok thanks, I will be patient. I only came across this site today, but I think its an excellent idea. Really looking forward to having a go. No rush of course, better that it works well.

It's been paused again, to allow for a move to a dedicated server...
Miller, just out of curiosity, how much bandwidth does AE use? Is it because of all the PHP scripts with so many people using them that uses up all the bandwidth?

I'm still wondering how much bandwidth are we talking about?..

This problem isn't bandwidth, its the provider not liking the amount of resources the site uses on their server. There are some serious scripts working behind the scenes that are apparently more than this provider can handle.
...figures...
But to answer your questions, Ae uses about 2gb bandwidth daily.
