Given how catastrophically unproductive this discussion is turning out to be, I'm inclined to agree with you.

 

Honestly, given the inability of anyone in this thread to get along (yes there is a noticeable maturity gap between members of this forum, but there still needs to be inclusivity of everyone's views) I very highly doubt there is any hope of it being fully restored to what it once was.

Alright then let's start. What do we need?

 

Active development team (clearly two or three people isn't going to suffice. The more the merrier, but taking on inexperienced people would cause more problems than it would be worth).

Active moderation team (literally two or three people would be enough. This isn't a particularly active board)

One or two people who can assume the role of Yuxi. Experience in project management and development would be a must. The logical thing to do would be to recruit from within the current moderation but it doesn't seem anyone is able to or willing to do this at the moment.

 

So there's what I think we need. Active moderation to steer the course of dialogue and a few development personnel. Now where are these people going to come from, and how are they to be selected?
