I'd put forward the Tu-124. I doubt you can make anything with that.
It ain't the worst, but it certainly ain't the best, either. Fokker's F27 and F28 are better substitutes.
F-70 is really bad compared to Avro RJ70 or RJ85.
CRJ-700 is earning very similar compared to E170, so I can't see how it's "worst" when the only plane in its class and age has similar performance...
I think they're just fine for small but longer routes to bring 60K+ profits until ATR-72-600 and Q400 NG appear.
Fuel flow on VC-10s are hideous. I made a huge mistake ordering 50 - most sat idle until I could afford to terminate the lease, or buy then sell to market

same
*newsflash*
Boeing and Airbus are both great
I had VC-10s once... It was awful.
Anyways, no profit off of those suckers, I'd hate to be a fan of them and then try to fly 50 of them. It's almost worse than the Concorde.
The helicopters
Truth
Boeing 737-800
What are you talking about? That's one of the BEST planes in the game.
L1011-250 the maintenance costs on that thing are insane!
The helicopters
I have used one between Geneva and Monaco. It was very profitable. 30 Seats too

Same. Thank god I only ordered 10.
I ordered 5 but I actually tried to route them. Even transatlantic flights aren't profitable. How much fuel flow are they, like 100k?
Although they are terrible, I really had great fun operating Concordes. I ordered 5 but I only operated 3, all with a profit of over 2 million, which I find pretty ok-ish actually... The other 2 were...... static displays promoting my airline so to say...
I operate/operated about a half dozen Super VC-10s in one of my realistic airlines, and they turned a profit for me. The fuel flow didn't seem that bad compared to others...? Well, at least for me, it was either the Vickie or the Il-62 (I was a Cuban airline in the 60s, so I made a rule of not buying American aircraft)
Though Soviet planes aren't very efficient, I've managed to make a profit with every one of them (EXCEPT the IL-62, which I suggest you avoid) that was more than $80,000 daily. Average is around $100,000, though this is with the help of Spam IFS. I would advise you, though, that valuation increases a LOT more slower with Soviet planes. I may try the Concorde soon, but I do think that the Tu-144 is a death trap. Period.
