Nothing's wrong with AC, except I've personally never flown with them.
well, try it first - I wouldn't complain about them monopolizing after that

But not AC Rouge...well, try it first - I wouldn't complain about them monopolizing after that
theyre ok. They have streaming...But not AC Rouge...
For some reason I have a feeling Air Canada Rouge isn't the same as Air Canada mainline, partly because their onboard offerings are noticeably different.theyre ok. They have streaming...
maybe... but I really like AC as I already said.... plus WestJet counts - There are more coming - Air Transat, NewLeaf, WestJet's new subsidiary...
AC & Westjet will likely continue to dominate the Canadian skies as a duopoly. They will crush NewLeaf & Canada Jetlines (if CJ ever gets off the ground), which is why they're exploring LCC options. The last 5 years have been a major improvement for the cost of flying in Canada & we still don't really have a whole lot of competition here. I welcome a LCC or ULCC, but I just don't think they'll hack it here. Also Transat will stick to the holiday markets where they've had success. I don't see them ever tying to compete on domestic routes.

You are correct. It's a leisure airline with far less legroom & amenities. They set it up as a separate company to avoid the huge salaries that mainline employees get because of the union. It's not horrible, but it's a far cry from their mainline service. I've only flown it a couple of times (YVR-LAS & YVR-PHX). No real complaints from me; pretty similar to WJ really.
I'd prefer a new full-service or hybrid airline with different fare types a la United to cater to both budget and business travelers (i.e., as in Basic Economy versus Standard Economy). And the transpacific and European business markets could get more competition from Canadian gateways.AC & Westjet will likely continue to dominate the Canadian skies as a duopoly. Yeah well, I don't really mind that much. AC offers basic economy, it just isn't a torture place, like united's. They also offer a large network and are expanding, so you'll see many more routes soon, especially out of my hometown , Vancouver!! Don't worry, AC isn't that bad
Note : Canadian Airlines DC-10 in CPAir Livery.
Although I'm Filipino I just want try out on Singapore because that's the country I was born in.
So what I would do for SIA(and subsidiaries):
Order some 777-200LRs to help the A350-900ULR in its future destinations
Order more 777-300ERs to add more European and North American Destinations
Order some A320neo family aircraft to be put into more in China and surrounding Asian neighbors (SilkAir)
Order more 787-8s/-9s for more services towards Australia and the Middle East (Scoot)
Put future A320neo orders into routes towards ASEAN neighbors (Scoot)
Order some A330-800/-900 for long and skinny routes out of Singapore (SIA)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What I would do for Philippine Airlines(after all Philippines is my true home country)
Order more 777-300ERs
Order 777-8/-9 for newer routes towards EU, NA, SA
Order more A350s or A330neos to replace current A330s
Order A320neos for PAL Express as a replacement for A320ceos
Order 737MAX for more destinations around Asian neighbors
Introduce a First Class cabin in 777 and future A350 aircraft
Order 787s for long and skinny routes like Manila to Warszawa/Warsaw

Well, it's comlicated here in Brazil. Cause there's Azul and TAM and the market is veryunstable...
Gol is absolutely not the flag carrier. See, can sometimes lead the domestic market, bur in the international one it's going down. With new Azul flight to USA from VCP, she is saying that's the new flag carrier, the successor of Varig. But TAM is bigger in everthing, number of planes, routes, strong presence in Europe and North America. And we have Avianca Brazil that is small, with only 6% of the domestic share
Mr PAG
They indirectly compete with Cathay Pacific on business traffic, you know.I from Singapore so it would be Singapore Airlines for me.
Not sure if you guys are aware that SQ enjoys a near monopoly in the aviation market in Singapore (Silk Air and Scoot are all under SQ). Before we talk about what can be done, lower the prices!!
British Airways
Tell the f***ing staff if they want to get a raise do their job and stop waisting passengers time by going on strike
Same but for Avianca

This is what I would do
Not sure if Aegean is a flag carrier, but I would start a few LH flights and expand a bit and massively complain to the government about the ME3 taking over our airspace and jobs (oh wait). I would start waaayy more flights from the islands (because those ****ers still have demand in the winter) and definitely some LH full service flights to JFK/EWR, LAX, ORD, YYZ, YVR, YUL, PEK, PVG, SIN, KUL, SYD, MEL, BNE, PER and maybe AKL as well. And when the Greek economy had a stroke I would ask for massive loans, and because all Greek politicians are autistic they would give them to me.
I totally agree with you, if only:
a. there were more people like you
b. the CEO/President of the airline realised the potential.
