Arab Airways was founded in 1997 in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is one of the newest airlines in the Gulf/Middle East region.
Its first plane was an Airbus A320-100, as initially the company aimed to operate on domestic and international medium-haul routes, but shortly afterwards it acquired its first Airbus A330.
It currently has 113 aircraft, including:
