Reasons Concorde is NOT a good regional airliner:
1.) Noise (Very noisy turbojets with afterburners for takeoff), banned from many airports at night for noise abatement reasons.
2.) Takeoff Run:
Concorde: 11,800ft at MTOW, SL, and ISA.
A320: 6,900ft at MTOW, SL, and ISA.
3.) Fuel Consumption (Longer route: lower impact from takeoff fuel consumption):
Concorde: 46.85lb/mi (standard mile) on Max Range (3900nmi (nautical mile ~=1.15 standard mile)) with 100 seats.
A320: 10.3lb/mi on 2151nmi with 150 seats.
4.) Crew:
Concorde: 2 Pilots + Flight Engineer.
A320: 2 Pilots.
5.) Passengers:
Concorde: 100 (All Economy High Density).
A320: 150 (2 Class), 180 (All Economy), 189 (All Economy High Density).
6.) Fuel Carriage: LOADS (It uses it to trim the aircraft because of the lack of a movable tail).
7.) Maintenance:
Concorde: Old-fashioned trial and error.
A320: Computer-aided troubleshooting.
8.) Supersonic: Only allowed over open ocean due to sonic boom concerns.
9.) Cockpit:
Concorde: Analogue, outdated, lacks modern navigation technology.
A320: Cutting-edge short-range computerised cockpit technologies.
10.) Range (Low in regional airliners to keep weight down):
Concorde: 3,900nmi.
A320: 3,300nmi.
I know the A320 isn't regional either but, for the benefits of the range similarity and the large amount of available data, I chose to use it for comparison purposes.
thanks for ruining my meme

When you reply to a request, you are giving that person a design for their use. If that person feels inclined to rework that livery, so be it, but make sure to credit the original creator of your livery. At least that's the way I see it.
i agree. btw to anyone else this thread is kinda closed, im using a different style livery now.

I recently read a post the other day saying the Concord is the best regional/short hop aircraft. At first i thought he was joking but im convinced, lets discuss it:
1. Its really FRIGGEN FAST (like mach 4 billion or something)
2. Extremely fuel efficient
3. doesn't carry a lot of fuel (it weighs less)
4. Only needs about 500 feet of runway
5. high pax capacity
6. Really low maintenance cost
anything else anyone wants to add?

Which is why you copied another guy's work
would you rather me steal the livery its self? im not even going to use it anyway, i was just exploring the livery idea.

I'd work on this but I'm worried you'll copy my work and call it your own
well seeing that i will basically use any logo that i like, rather than just taking ideas from it like my livery post, i will be forced give credit. but this aint a requirement and its not urgent so... do what you want.

Why the hell are you using the USB symbol...

Wow, looking great, maybe make the letter either go more left/under or smaller (a bit too cramped with the pattern and the cockpit window), the engine casket, I cant imagine it, but, will it any good if there's pattern there too? The rest are already like what I've imagined tho
ok, ill try all that out in the morning

Seems kinda hard with the pattern and the logo, they dont go together to well in my opinion.
Edit: well, i could be wrong. ill give it a go.

So i Just started my airline, what regional aircraft would be best for a new airline? Or should i not even bother with regional until later.
Thx for any replies.

That surpass my capacity, and my "airline regulations", but my calculations said, you need:
For 4000 pax demand with a 747-400D (the largest ACFT of one of my current VA for that age) with 548 in economical class is:
61.76 flights at week, green bar to the top limit (no empty seats). i dont know the distance but seems like a 1000 mi , that is like 4 or 7 planes to cover that route.
61.76 / 7 days = 8.8 daily flights, of a 747-400D
I think is reasonable because 747-400D is made for that.
Would it be wise to use just a320's early on and then move to a wide body? bc i like just started the airline. Thx for the reply btw
