I am 6' 2" tall so unless I am up the pointy end of the plane in the comfy seats I live with the leg room I am given. This time in a week I will be on my way to the Airport.

I will be posting a trip report and video of the flights. The longest leg will be PER-SIN which isn't all that bad. If you love aircraft then a lack of leg room should be a minor concern. Can't wait to walk down that airbridge at Perth Airport. Does anyone know if Tiger still has portable dvd players for hire? I'm getting conflicting info on various sites.

The flights I am the most excited about are the Bangkok Airways ATR-72 and the elderly Thai Air Asia 737-300's. One week to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There isn't a lot to talk about at the moment. I'm only playing AE1. Just waiting for the next re-set to get into AE2 when everyone starts on an even playing field. The good thing for me is that I have 9 real flights in and around Asia in the next month. I leave for Vietnam next Wednesday and will also be going to Cambodia and Thailand. I will be flying with Tiger Airways, Jetstar Pacific, Vietnam Airlines, Bangkok Airways and Thai Air Asia.

I'm not naming names yet, but how could an airline in sim 1 possibly have 558 aircraft at this stage of the game? We haven't really been playing for that long.

I checked the Fokker order book and SimStar is not on it. It looks like I have lost my cash but I would like to know why. I've also paid for gates that will be returned.

Has anyone else had problems with new AC purchases in AE 1? Used purchases should be seen as taken at your own risk but new aircraft should show up if ordered.

I ordered a new F-27 and my deposit was taken but on the monthly change over it wasn't delivered, nor was it on my pending deliveries or Fokker's order book.

When I view my airline from the ranking screen it tells me that info for LGW (my hub) is coming soon. What does this mean? It doesn't happen when I try to look at LGW from my routes screen.

Telling people not to mess with you is like a red rag to a bull. You just don't do it this early ( if at all ) in a game. When you can afford to throw half a dozen 747-400s at the smallest route you can find then you can start throwing some weight around.
