I feel like for the overlapping logo to work you might want to use a different font and have more overlap. Right now it feels like an in-house idea that for whatever reason the company didn't want to lean into fully, creating an awkward look. I also think that the use of the dark red in the overlap of the tail logo is awkward - I find it oddly reminiscent of the rubber grips on the Logitech F710 bluetooth game controller due to the contrast in colors.

While I think that the logo is an improvement over the previous iteration, I think the color choices could be better to really make it pop (I'm thinking of more saturated yellows, oranges, and reds for the background, and perhaps a dark blue-ish purple for the logo itself). I also think that the area that's not filled in at the bottom of the logo makes for a somewhat awkward, incomplete look. Additionally, I think the font choice could be better (perhaps something like Geometos would look nice).

This brand is clever -  I love the way you've placed the logo and the retro logo is phenomenal. On the modern livery though, I feel like the logo is too complicated and poorly executed, with the feathers in particular feeling very un-natural.
