I feel like this would become bland after 2030 (halfway thru the game) because there are almost no new aircraft for the rest of the game. The only new planes that are basically placeholders. After 2030 it would basically just be ordering all the same new planes all the time and letting it simmer for 20 years.

I think having an extra long world or two like this would be super interesting! We can go from the end of WWII into the future, including operating the 777X for a few years as well which 1955-2025 does not do.

I don't now, probably some browser update broke the graphs feature or something. Just happens sometimes. It's an old game with a very small dev team.

Thankfully the 767-200ER, -300, -300ER, and -400ER are produced until the end of the game. It is feasible, though somewhat unrealistic, to replace your older 767s with newer ones. 

I always operate them until the end of the game precisely because there are no good replacements.

That is a solution but not really an "official" solution. A Ryanair 737 vs Turkish 737 definitely don't have the same turnaround times

It's basically the same thing. If you schedule 19hr/day utilization, you will see a negative impact on your on-time service. But if you schedule less utilization, equivalent to increasing turnaround time, you will see better on-time performance and better route reputation.

It depends on what you want, really. But if you go for the 787, don't get the 787-10. Get the 777-200 instead.

On the shorter 757-200 flights, you could go with the A321-100, -200, NEO, LR, 737-900ER, MAX9, or MAX10. For the long range flights, the most viable replacement is probably the 767-200ER with a low density configuration.

Does anyone ever operate 737-200ADVs and/or 727-200ADVs late enough in a game (2005 and 1999 respectively I believe) to have the option to retrofit winglets, and if so, do you equip them?

No he isn't spot on, champ.
AE works off a 189 PAX exit limit, the limitation int he game software is that is based on a full Y configuration. Now I don't see either of you volunteering to write the code to fix this free game that hasn't seen significant updates in years.
Just wait till the 739ER comes out.


Hi bud. Thanks for being rude. I know exactly how AE calculates seating, I was wondering whether there is some way for it account for available space on the aircraft. Maybe the -900 can theoretically carry 220 like the -900ER. But the total number of seats for a configuration is capped at 189.

I think it would be cool if we had more worlds between the 30 and 70 year extremes we have now. The vast majority of game worlds are 30 years, one is 40 years, two are 70 years, and the sandbox and beginner worlds are only 20 years. I want to see more 40, 50, 60, and 70 year games. Maybe the people would like an 80-year 1950-2030 game?
