Have you ever flown with Southwest Airlines? I'm pretty sure they're fairly good for an LCC. And what about AS/VX or B6? They're hybrids, but they can rival the quality of legacies.

I've noticed this and it seemed strange. Does anyone know why this is?

I was just wondering, which country is Æ from, like where was it founded, where is its headquarters.
It comes from the dark abyss of Yuxi's basement.

Were you smart enough, you'd know that it takes far less time to run The Empire than would appear. A couple clicker browser extensions are needed but once obtained one can route 10,000 aircraft in an hour.
Go back to Runescape.

I agree to what og EKPO has said. This is not fair by any means, and takes the fun and joy out of running airlines. It's also causing Yuxi to slow down said world, to upgrade the servers to handle the additional load, which is complete bull****. The majority of people on AE who run airlines actually enjoy doing so. But taking advantage of flaws in the game mechanics to benefit only the owner is utter bull****. Exploiting the game mechanics is bad enough, but Yuxi having to upgrade his server equipment just to handle the massive amounts of data by this is completely uncalled for. I wouldn't be surprised if the general idea of this is actually illegal in some jurisdictions. It's also technically against the rules and something you can get banned for. I don't have all the details, but I do know having multiple airlines operating the same route is against the game regulations. Some of you might argue that people who do this can avoid it, but having witnessed multiple times members with a large amount of airlines in one game world, it leaves little if no margin for error.

We accept your challenge. Overcome us.
You seem to believe that you have unlocked our secrets and imagine yourself capable of the glories of The Empire.
Prove yourself to be more than a dreaming slave.
Is that the best you can come up with? The medieval times wants their lousy comebacks back, you ****ing t***.

I feel that ISADs by themselves supporting each other are legal, as long as they don't share the same routes, but when players establish 2+ airlines with the ISAD model, that's where the concern is. However, ISADs apparently become more efficient with the more ISAD alliance members they have, which gives players an incentive to use ISADs in worlds where the player's number of airlines is unlimited.
ISADs are definitely a manner in which the game can be played, but one of their defining features is the unfair competition they create - you can't compete against what is essentially a megairline comprised of an alliance of several ISADs. It's less like an airline, and really just the computerized, solely logic-based solution to gaining the maximum profit. If you can create your own demand which your competitors can't touch, why not exploit it?
What Yuxi would need to do is make it so that the best possible solution to creating the most profitable airline would be nearly the same to the airlines we have today.

I think you guy's are in co-hutz just to babble about a meaningless argument. because I can say. infact.
in all the half dozen years I've been playing. there has never, never ever been a time were "spammy spammy" a
spamline, blueline or even the dreaded $1 line has ever driven any airline I ran under. ever......... e-vvvv-errrrr.
just like spreadsheets " which always kill me just to think people come up with them." let alone using one and thinking
it makes your airline better somehow. a spamline is nothing...
so, with that... noooooooooooooooooo
I do not need a inflated spamlining by artificial demand ( isad ) declaration of rights and grievances. thing
haaahahahahaaa, I get it. hee heee heee heee I get it now - - - - - - - - ( ISAD )
HAAH HAA HAAA.... I GET IT NOW..... I "REALLY REALLY" SAD TO.
haa haa ha ahaaa. -------------> ISAD <------------- that's just to funny..... haa ha hhaaaaa

So I just recently thought of something. As we all know vehicles nowadays come with lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and other technologies...even run of the mill Chevy's and Ford's have them. However, I've seen (and have been in the car with) people who seem to lean on this new technology too much. I saw a report of Tesla's Autopilot basically making a man rear-end a fire truck at speed. Thankfully he walked away with minor injuries. I'm not trying to bash Tesla. I think their Autopilot feature is very good, but it's still up to the driver to pay attention to the road. Some people on Discord know that I recently purchased a vehicle. It doesn't have all this monitoring and automated technology, it doesn't even have the basics like traction control or anti-lock brakes, but I love it. Like the Tesla who hit that fire truck, the Autopilot wasn't at fault, the driver was. Autopilot is a great feature that I wish to see further development on. However, it still has it's limitations and if the driver had been paying attention, the accident would've been avoided. But I didn't make this article to ramble on about one incident with one technology (okay, maybe I have). When I'm out driving, even around town or when someone else is taking me, I've seen countless people texting and driving. I'm pretty sure I don't need to go into elaborate detail as why that's a bad idea. I've seen countless people and families getting injured or killed because someone cannot wait to text someone back and this infuriates me. As someone who hasn't ever owned a cellular device, I can't see the point why someone would risk their lives and others to text someone back when all they have to do is pull over to a safe location and then text.
I know this has probably been more of a rant than anything, but I still think you guys get my point.
I encourage people to elaborate on this subject, but I don't want to see people getting into arguments. This is just people putting their two-sense in.
Personally, I think (most of) this new technology is great, but it still has it's drawbacks and ultimately up to the driver to asses the situation and take action.
What do you guys and gals think?
Sincerely,
Jezza

So this Qantas thing in R7 keeps taking over my domestic routes, how can I get them to quit off that route
You don't? It's called competition for a reason.

Per engine. So don't think a A340 is more efficient than a 777!
If that were even slightly true, the 747, A380, DC-8, or pretty much any 4 engined aircraft (or 3 engined for this case) would be WILDLY unprofitable, and I mean it would be absolutely atrocious...and I know for a fact it isn't. Although it would be interesting to know what units of measurement the fuel flow is calculated in.
Also, to answer your question, the F-28 has low-bypass turbofans and while the BAE 146 may have 4 engines, it has high-bypass turbofans, and it's also has 15-20 years (if not more) of engine developments over the old Rolls Royce Speys

Unfortunately yes.
I wish this would change. Seeing the ****ing 707 being delivered well into the 21st century is just absurd.

You made a new topic just to complain that a route is unprofitable?
Posted by Jezza. on 19 January 2018 - 06:54 AM in General AE Discussion
I fly the DC-8-20. It's reasonably profitable. And the -30 has a greater range.
