Mind if I ask how exactly it's 'dragging this good game down'?
if other designers follow you, but just saying. I will always design liveries for free

listen im not arguing with you, really cant be bothered, just wanted to state my views, what annoys me though is how the game designers do all they can to keep it free and someone suddenly decides to make money themselves, if any admin reads this, why should a user profit from your hard work, either take a cut or dont allow it to happen in-house.

Are you aware your argument is completely flawed?
Facebook is a prime example of this... a free to use website that many have used to make money... there's numerous apps that require fees to use, and various corporations use it as an adversing base. You can make your opinion voiced all you like, but there's nothing at all wrong with what I'm doing, and your opinion isn't going to change that. Do you think I'm covering my costs with those prices anyway?

Regardless, that wasn't my point anyway. You'll quite clearly see that various business of all sizes have pages, groups, etc. They're most certainly not charged for that...

Your point is? I'm a small business with a profile on a social network (ie AE)... according to you that's fine...

SB, AE is not a social network, its a free online game, this game doesnt have a steady profit (and advertising isnt really steady, which I know from running my own site), so I am sure that devs would be happy to get a cut from your profit. Also you should give at least a part of your profit because you are changing how this game could be viewed by new members. If you charge for liveries and they look at that, they might think that this game is turning into a business rather than an airline simulation game where people help others to start their own airline or design graphics for them.

oddly enough mate, I'm paying £15 a month and am expecting a reasonably large figure for the domain... I don't know about you but that's a relatively large quantity...
try $114 a month that yuxi has to pay to keep the game running (or somewhere near that, I remember I asked him how much it costed to host it, and I remember he said something like 114
