Embedding photos is not illegal Hosting them is.
FSPro (Ex-Posky) had a rule saying no embedding, but that was their own rule
Nobody is really going to send a group of layers for one photo really - i've had a more serious breach of copyright to deal with (with me being the copyright owner)
In that case a simple note was left and the subsequent file removed Common sense and decency tends to prevail in reality (the newspapers tend to report the unusual cases, and 99.9% are dealt with ouside courts)
and SB...

My understanding is that as you have left the author's credits on the bottom of the image, I don't think this counts as a significant copyright issue, and therefore I doubt issue will be taken by AE staff or the owner's lawyers. If I'm wrong, I'm sure a member of the senior team will step in.
Good practise for future reference though is to email the owner first and ask out of courtesy. 99% of the time they'll let you if you keep them credited.
However, I have been asked by a user to intervene here in my capacity as AE staff. I therefore request that this thread remains on topic and does not deviate further into the realms of international copyright law. Further posts may be deleted. Thanks.

Give it time, and failing that take a look in Chat.
Liveries are done on a purely voluntary basis by other users who chose to do it for their own amusement, so please don't treat this as an obligatory service.

That's very rude, Gianlucad. I think that just ruins any chance of you GETTING a livery

While I admit that post was somewhat odd, if you'd read the last line AeroGroup one would notice that the comment in question was sarcastic. I do have to admit though it wasn't particularly humerous , which I suspect may be the reason for the misunderstanding.

I suggest to people unless your a law expert or know what your talking about in regards to copyright, either state it clearly or say nothing at all.
I am sick and tired of so called "experts" trying to determine what is right and wrong.
There is mods on the forums to decide that...

That's it Maestro, delete my post... I think you'll find there's actually nothing contained within my post that does not abide with the rules of AE, and so should be viewable.
In regards to your statement concerning law experts, while I am not one of those, it was ny understanding, due to witnessing similar situations on other forums where it had been suggested that this was in breach of copyright, that the same could be said for this situation.
Regardless, there's nothing wrong with my post so you can either put it back or another mod will...
And Maestro, nice to know you still hate me

This may just be my opinion but who gives a damn? Just give the guy his livery and argue somewhere else?
