It's been on my to do list for well, ever now. I finally got around to liberalizing the EU and AUS/NZ. What this means is that in the realistic sims you can now open domestic EU (and AUS/NZ) flights if you based in one of the member states. For example: if you are based in LHR, you can open CDG-FCO, BRU-FRA and etc however you cannot open CDG-JFK or CDG-ZRH etc since US and Switzerland are not EU members. (Same applies for Australia/New Zealand based airlines)

Africa liberalization will be implemented when stopovers are implemented.

An image will come eventually to further clarify this. (if needed)

Enjoy! :)

The arab world I can confirm are working into doing something along these lines, they want to make the currency the same, but I'm not 100% sure.

You need hard evidence about that, any official website stating that should do the trick if you ask me :)

If we continue to add liberalized regions then won't that sort of "half" defeat the purpose of must depart/arrive from your home country?

The point of the "realistic" worlds is to simulate the real-world regulatory structure, and liberalization is a part of the real world. It would be better if we have a database of bilateral/open skies agreements with their dates - that would add another dimension to the time progression in the game. I'm looking at you un1 :whistling:

Nice addition to the realistic worlds. At least a bit more choice, considering US is like a money spinner due to these restrictions..

anyways looking forward to putting into practice.. :) :giggle:

I'm with Yuxi on this - it won't affect the modern worlds more the 80s worlds, but I think it would be a nice touch if the openskies treaties were to start in game at the dates that they did in real life.

Either way, good feature.
