A reset of this is totally unnecessary... My DOP dropped about a million dollars down to 3.3 million.. I fixed a few of my bread and butter routes and was right back to my original DOP. Everything will eventually stabilize, I think.

I'm a mod, but that doesn't mean I know anything more than anyone else. What problem are you refering to?

Only some of my routes have been affected not all of them but some. I didnt realize it was bug until today lol so ive had a major fare slash at my ELP hub.

Sorry, but this is unacceptable. each day that some of the contestatnts change prices costs money. I don't have the time to spend hours in front of the PC to check each and every route if something has changed there.
I get more and more to the oppinion that this occurence has a major impact on the game. And we have the case of a 5000$ fare on a long haul where before this thing it was 300k of profit.

Still nobody "official" commenting on the occurence. My Airline was on the rise. just started to rise and it was fun to still discover new markets in an already saturated world.

If somebody said: "Okay, bad bug, let's reset the game" no prob. But such a major impact on this game and no comment from any mod at all... That is the point of driving me out of the game.

Waiting a bit (only a bit) longer on an answer

Damn, this is getting rediculous. Why cant Miller just reverse the effects of the bug? And why in the HELL do we have a bug anyway, isnt there such a thing as anti-piracy software or somethingthat will protect his server from hackers?

It can't be reversed because the server is already close to capacity, and there's just no room for a backup.

Why are there bugs? Because this is a BETA. It is supposed to be still in testing phase. You can't expect something free like this to be perfect. Heck, Microsoft rips you off and there are still a plethora of bugs.

Just relax and do whatever we could. It's not like you're losing real money...

doing daily backups will just cause even more stress on the server and more bandwidth usage, which might cause the server to go down like it has a couple of times.. now just play... EVERYONE had the bug affect them, not just you....

The price changing rage is causing alot of probs I mean a while ago one of my routes was having about -23K and a bit later It was at about 65K !!!!!!!!!

The developers, miller, and senior members have said this before, and I'll say it again, THIS GAME IS A BETA!!!! THERE ARE GOING TO BE BUGS!!!! And the only other two free major airline management online games, one is in german, the other has registration closed.

Go ahead. As Kevin said, this game is beta. If you don't like to play the game, nobody has forced you to.

I personally believe that the problems with load factors that have been reported after the.... uhm... incident with $160 fares are not due to the actual fares, but as Maestro pointed up waaay back up in this thread, the fares are only cosmetics. The problems are because of other load factor bugs(common guys, we all know that the load factor script is bugged in all sorts of different ways) announcing their presence due to the high amount of routes being reset in a short period of time.
