Most of this is from my experience, but here it goes.

1. You love jet noise.
2. Whenever you hear a roaring/buzzing sound you immediately look up at the sky.
3. You can tell a 767-200 from a -300 at a quick glance.
4. Whenever you take a trip, usually you look forward to the flight more than the destination.
5. On pictures from the said trip a good majority was on the plane you flew.
6. You almost always take a window seat.
7. Aircraft type and airline is a high priority when picking a flight.
8. You can tell the difference between a 747-300 and a 747-400.

Feel free to add on.

I fit this :D

29) You look at which aircraft is operating the flight rather than the timing.

I once went with an extra stop just to fly on a320

Living near both ORD and MDW i get traffic from both. The best day is when the planes fly in for landing going west, making a 180 degree turn literally over my house to land. and they are LOW

When being forced to play softball at school, being more annoyed about being unable to look up at the aircraft (Often an A380) flying over than not hitting the ball.

Tricking your parents into thinking their desired flight is a non-direct flight just to take a plane you prefer.

11. you can tell what the aircraft is before even seeing it because of its engine noise...

A case in point: the beautiful howl of the F-4 Phantom II--unfortunately, rarely heard today.

I fly often on an overnight SEA-MIA flight (about 3 times a year :P ) and I almost never sleep. I just love the 737-800

When your at the airport you want to sit in the seat facing out onto the apron and not the seat that your family wants far, far away from anything interesting.

Or some that maybe they do, like what that noise just was. There's the flaps. There's the gear. THRUST REVERSERS!

Oh yes, that was the bomb Al Queda put in a suitcase.

That awkward moment where you can bore the passenger next to you to death if you don't like them...

When, in a flight, you'd rather look out the window for IFE rather than see what movie is playing in the cabin or stare at the TV attached to the seat in front of you. (Except on some flights when taking off/landing, when your plane has a tail camera connected to the tv in front of you to watch your plane land.)

When, planespotting, you judge how smooth the landings/touchdown are, and stare in awe when you see this one plane make a really really smooth touchdown.
