Not a bug, but a suggestion: I think it would be nice to see both load factors (O&D, connecting) on the "current routes" page.

Actually, instead of the current route page, on the individual route page for an airline's route, it should show how many passengers are O/D and how many passengers are connecting. That would be much better, than just massing info on the current routes page.

Well I made Geneva my hub. And I didn't notice any difference, other then that of other competitors

Also for me no connecting passengers at all.

On the route GVA-CDG (geneva-paris), cunard is I think testing something out. he has wel over the 20 flights. But i'm also making a good money on that route with just two flights. Also if i use the reaserch tool it shows that there is some amount of connecting traffic. But that is not flying with me, somehow.

I am currently changing all my MAD routes so that they have 80% O&D passengers. On some routes this is hard to achieve, because I have more than one plane on such a route. Equal planes, equal age, equal ticket price, different results...

According to memory, AE passengers don't care how they get "there". They want a seat, and they are willing to pay a price, but it doesn't matter if they travel 10 hours or just 3.
So, why not add up all seats an airline has on a certain route, and determine a price for the whole batch in one go? One price, one profit, for the total. Then divide the revenues pro rata, subtract cost per plane, and end up with profits per plane.

Another problem. One boeing flies 4 times, the other 8.
All other properties are exactly the same.

If this would be real life, I couldn't care less which of the
two (equal!) planes I got on. All I know is the airline flies one route
12 times a day.

I tried resetting the price (from 1400 to 1400) and the problem
got worse, I now have 20% and 90% direct LF

This doesn't look right according the rules of economics.

total capacity exceeds the demand 8 times and still you'll get a full plane

Difference between "Research route possibilities" and really opening a route confirmed. For instance a Q400 on DUS-VKO:

when actually opened this route (needed to update price because the information after creating disappears due to reload):

To actually get 80% LF, I need a lower price:

A non-hub to a hub route. This is very weird. Projected revenue of $86mill has to be wrong for a roundtrip on an A330, with a ticket price of $2,200.

After creating the route, the actual revenue is a little over 600k @ 100% LF. However, with a cost to fly of less than 200k, 600k is now too low!

($2,200 x 358) x 2 = $1,575,200 in revenues. Surely, it cannot cost $900,000 to keep an A330-300 in the air for 20 hours or so.

Highspeed,
If you kept going up with the price you would have made more because your connecting load would have gone up. The way to make more is to get rid of the O&D Pax and get more connecting pax............... Weird

This is a non-hub to non-hub route but the destination is one of the airports which I've trashed from a hub.

It is interesting to see connecting loadfactors on a "focus city".

An other finding is that if you change the ticket price on routes that you flown before you made the hub. They will also get connecting pax. beside this i could raiseall the prices due to more custumors. I originaly had about 435K profit on routes out my hub. After raising all the prices that figure gone up by about 100K$ to 545K

The current game is still running. Miller put the beta version of AE up so people could test the LF script. If the Beta closes, the current game will still continue.

Nothing has changed just an optional new game.
