Kyoto Otsu International Airport (KST/RJKK)

Gates: 22 jet bridges+14 remote stands+5 cargo gates+1 helipad

 

There is also 2 airport lounges (KSTLounge and Lamina lounge) and a viewing deck for planespotting

 

 

This airport serves the cties of Kyoto and Otsu, Japan. It is located on an artificial island in Lake Biwa, Shiga Prefecture.  The airport is about 20 miles from Kyoto and about 10 from Otsu.

To be clear this airport is set in an alternate history where Lake Biwa is NOT a source of drinking water (lets just say the Japanese government found a different water source), otherwise I would not have chosen this as a location for an airport.

firefly has launched operations in SEA, using a brandnew fleet of 787s and 737MAXs!

 

firefly would like to operate daily to LWD using 787-8, N206FF.

 

we would also like to fly to UKY, 787-8, N480FF

 

we are considering operations to blueline hub los angeles, and we have launched flights to SFO, PDX, YVR, DOH, IAD, and SYD
