I'm starting to think this has become either...a prank, or they have decided to show us they really don't give about bugs as important as this one
Well, at least people have stopped complaining about the LF bug :sdrool:
A little of this and a little of that.

If it is indeed a hacker, I'm gonna start demanding that my password stop being plaintexted and demand it be MD5 hashed, with a salt key from now on.
Demand all you like, it will get you no where...
Apache 2 is unstable, the latest stable version of PHP is actually 5.1.4Upgrade to PHP4.4.2 and Apache 2
The server has not been "hacked" in any sense of the word, we changed one file which then caused this error...
And if anyone is SO worried about the security of their password, i reccomend you take the following action...
Have a different password for every login that you have over all websites...
Change all passwords to a different alpha numerical string every 30 days
Do no reuse the same password more than once

Another text read like this :

Apache 2.2 is unstable. Apache 2.0 is perfectly fineApache 2 is unstable, the latest stable version of PHP is actually 5.1.4
PHP 4.4.2 is the latest stable PHP4 version. I knew you wouldn't want to go down the PHP5 road cause PHP/MySQL integration usually means war between user and computer for most (and at best too)

Goodie
I think there's another fatal error.

They're tinkering with something.....whatever it is they got rid of a hell load of functions :puzzled:

Thank you for the info. I see you have changed a whole lot more now (login not working). Any idea when we might be able to log in again? Or does this even mean a loss of data and thus a reset?:puzzled: In any case please let us know asap. Leaving the users waiting for so long just begs for impatient remarks and off-the-mark complaints.
So drop a quick note on what the story is and we will be patiently waiting to resume our gameplay. Cheers and thank you for your efforts. They are greatly appreciated.

I'll restore a previous back up. No data has been lost, its not a database error, simply a PHP Error...

As far as i know, PHP5 works fine with MySQL 4 and 5. I'm not going to upgrade PHP untill Version 3 is released due to code compability issues.I knew you wouldn't want to go down the PHP5 road cause PHP/MySQL integration usually means war between user and computer for most (and at best too)
Apache 2 is not compatable with Apache 1.3 modules either. Rendering some modules we use useless... I've not got the time nor patience to start messing around reinstalling apache and all associated modules... Its what we call in the industry... "A Ball Ache"

Also, is there any way to get our gates back? I was changing all my aircraft on my routes when the problem came up. Now I have lost many valuable gates!

Either he will get the month change sorted back to normal when he restores the old game data from a couple of days ago , or today in AE we will have a 35 or so hour day , until the usual month change time tommorow , and then it will sort itself out.
