The base price of the X200 is 95 million USD, however with 10 airframes, Speedjet is willing to offer a 5% discount per airframe. 

This comes down to 902 million for 10 of these advanced aircraft. 

(95,000,000*0.95)*10= 902,500,000

 

AYC accepts the deal. We would like for 5 of them to be delivered to ZAG and 5 to BEG.

Xcellence has started up, its first plane is the T-Tail Rear engined X-160, which seats up to 160 economy customers (that at a pitch of 29") in a 5 abreast config. The aircraft is intended as a modernised replacement for the MD-80 series and fits between the larger MD-80,81,82,83 and 90 series, and the smaller 87 series. Estimated fuel savings vs those planes is in the 50% range. The aircraft will use a higher powered Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan engine modified to produce 30000lbs of thrust. A smaller version with fewer seats and 20000lbs of thrust is soon to follow, and is infact the base model. Each aircraft will come with full flat-panel glass cockpit avionics with automatic landing (to a complete stop) in case of allowed operations in poor visibility that CAT3 would not permit. and autopilot capabilityThe cabin will feature an xtra wide aisle to aid boarding and turnover. Customers get their share with the 19 inch wide seats coming in at the top end of the market, even though we feel they should be the entry level. PaxEx, certainly. Efficiency yeah! So consider our plane, we have thought about all of it. Starting prices are around $35 million make them affordable for carriers as well. You can lease the plane, and when the lease has cost you as much as the agreed automatic purchase price, you own it. Financing is just a quicker version for carriers that can afford the higher payments. But se think even Spirit will like this plane.

Wijdom Aerospace Assembly opens factory near Lelystad airport and Eindhoven Airport and plans to start building the W120.

 

The W120 is a longer version of the Fokker 100.

 

Wijdom W120 Specifications:

A ground incident caused damage to the NLMB-100 prototype destroying the entire right wing.

The aircraft is beyond economical repair and will be stored at AMS for parts.

 

This incident delays the NLMB-100/110 program for quite some time
