I think there should be an option to create subsidiaries within an airline to create feeder passengers, not that its not happening now with the connecting flights and all that with hubs. Like lufthansa and their smaller subsidiaries.

 

Also airlines should be allowed to sell equity in the airline to other players instead of going for loans and bonds, add a whole new business dynamic to the game.

Subsidiaries are being introduced in AE4 as far as I know, developers are not going to do anything that major to AE3 when AE4 is under development. Also, this topic has been mentioned before. Welcome to AE though, hope you have fun

Just do the feeder routes with your original airline.

Subsidiaries will be in AE 4, but they'll likely have to share delivery slot limits with their parent companies to keep the growth from getting out of control. That shouldn't be an issue if you're using it to run regional airlines though, since the scope of aircraft is separate.
