Dubai - Christchurch, on Emirates, via Thailand and Sydney - don't know if they still fly that route. Nice 10 config coach 777 flight for a flight, pretty unconfortable for the 12 hour portion of the flight.
And, next year, since LH haven't yet launched Panama City, I'll be going on the world's longest flight - Dubai - Panama City in Business Class no less, 17h25mins. You'll have to pay me to fly in that Emirates 777 economy layout!!! OSL-Dubai-Panama City, is a very efficient routing, but cheaper in Business Class than on any of the US Majors.

Emirates still flies DXB-CHC via BKK and SYD. Quite a unique route. Oh please do a Flight Trip Report on that Emirates Panama flight. Would love to see it!

I didn't beat my record, but my recent trip on Air France 259 from Singapore to Paris tied my record at 13 hours and 30 minutes, so thought it was worth a mention

I sure will, probably on FT. Yeah, that route gives a new meaning to fifth freedom - but, it's nice to get off and stretch your legs.

CLE to LAX to PEK to NNG took about 38 hours. if my memory serves me. LAX to PEK over the northpole first time took about 18 hrs. . United got me back to Washington Dc from PEK in about 13. I flew in a ATR in turbulence from Pennsylvania to CLE in turbulence.. When some kids and babies puked white . And that hour and a half lasted about a week. Ont to IAH to CLE diverted to to Chicago to Cle , for fuel and weather delays took about 13 hours.

Longest single flight was CVG-CDG. I've had longer itineraries spread over multiple flights though.
