We already get a four weekly A320 to Adelaide.

I swear it used to be more frequent...

5x weekly from memory. JetConnect also used to operate a 734 to ADL interestingly.

Google says 4x.

Possible service reductions off season I guess?

so far, only 5 717s are to be reconfigured with business class to operate the CBR routes. I'm wondering if they might get IFE a la 767 iPads. that said the CBR sector lengths are quite short. perhaps the mining routes? though miners would rek the iPads.

Why would miners reck the iPads. My understanding is that most have there own iPads for entertainment at work.

when i said they'd wreck them i didn't mean literally...it's one of those things which...nvm... anyhow, Air Niugini will operate a wet-leased 757 from icelandair on POM-BNE while their 767 is out of action.

so does POM-BNE normally sustain a 767 or is it just an ego boost for the PNG government, like Air Pacific and Air Tahiti Nui?

Have we found out whether they're cheating QF J yet?

Also, Jetstar rumoured to enter the regional market in New Zealand, if we take what goes on around on a.net as fact.

I see route openings for WLG & CHC to ZQN and DUD, as well as maybe AKL-NSN [Nelson], which is up to more than 7 daily services.

If they went with the Q400, AKL-IVC [Invercargill] could become a reality, currently not flown by NZ.

Q400 would have the range and speed to manage it, and could be a very attractive business market.

However, ausbt did mention that most (80%+?) biz. travellers in NZ preferred ANZ.

expect -EBS to be returned to QF by the end of the month. I presume that it still has the recliners in business.

VH-EBS is in Perth. Watch out for a QF announcement in the next 3 days regarding their domestic product.

JQ have released their 787-8 configuration. 21J @ 38" 2-3-2 and 314Y @ 31" 3-3-3. It will first debut on domestic routes flying to Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Perth and Cairns before going international. The first 2 aircraft to be delivered will be VH-VKD and VH-VKE in September this year with flights beginning in November. Expect all A330's to be phased out from the JQ fleet by 2015.

indeed it does. Japan and Honolulu could probably support 28J but that would be it. so just jack up J prices ^_^

Wouldn't it be better for VA to get AUH up to daily?
