Big Plane220 seats would be the TU204-100..........it's speed can let it make 300,000+ per day on some routes. Extremely low base maint for it's size and also low monthly maint. Sweet little plane.
ATR-72-(600) for short haul no Atr42s and Q400s
Along with no A318 it is A319LR

Personally i think the Boeing 757 is the best for the 220-240 seat range as it is versatile and in my circumstances, making a good amount of money

Okay, I completely agree with you. The 72-600s have served me well but I know that A319-100s are brilliant. Also, the A350-1000. I use these AirBuses in S3-B for a budget airline.Big Plane

A320 family - always a good server
B737-800 or -600 only (unless it's Kaibaby )
Q400 is very nice, serves me brilliantly although later on (2012onwards) I order in ATR-72-600 unless I need them for short runway, in which case I keep the Q-series
E-Jets are great all-rounders
757's are just fantastic but impossible to replace, A321 just doesnt do it justice for me,both have their own markets to serve
A330 over 767 although when the game gets older, 787's are just the best
747-8i is a stunningly brilliant aircraft to have when possible, so profitable

737-600 beats the 700
but the 737-700 (or the 737-700ER) has more range (flexibility) when putting routes together
quote from topic "What is the biggest fleet you've ever had?"
Well, the demise of the latest Aurora Airways happened when I got too cocky and ordered 20 B732Advs, 10 B752s, upped my marketing, gave my employees pay raises and bonuses totaling over one billion upfront and an extra $300K a month. And then I went to bed I wake up and my airline was in deep debt .
no, I am cheap - I set all of my Median Pay Rates at $7 and the Reserves at 0%
also I stick to (at most) 3 or sometimes 4 aircraft types (A320,737, 737NG) though sometimes I will add in the 757's:
(I buy any version of these used though) as I operate my airlines as "point-to-point" (Southwest type) airlines

Well, you can either have more aircraft variants and have them all fitting to the routes or you can get an aircraft with much range and low pax count which you can spam on every route, but possibly isn't the best economic decision. (also regarding the A340-200 in moat cases)
