when i did a dummy booking it sent me via SIN. Ok yeah just checked the JQ press release and it's a DRW-SIN-KIX flight. SIN-KIX is operated by an A332

In other news, I note the huge number of ANZ link cancellations that seem to be occurring on a daily basis. I wonder if NZ is being a bugger and combining flights or weather is crap everywhere.

Yeah. Using an anecdotal fallacy. When I was sitting in WLG airport, heard this. A WLG-NSN flight was cancelled. No reason was given. Pax rebooked on a later one, and a Mt. Cook flight to CHC that was changed to stop in NSN. Makes me think bookings were poor if a full Q300 could be accommodated at the last minute on two other services.

In June 2013, Singapore Airlines will be launching a 4th daily SIN-MEL flight which will be operated by an A330-300.

Morning SIN-MEL looks needed, looking at the TTs. iirc they afternoon arrivals in Aus/NZ are popular with EU tourists.

SQ208 seems centred around connections. PEK, CPH, FUK, NGO, PVG, LHR, CAI, DXB, ZRH, KIX, MXP all depart 1-2 hours after SQ208 lands in SIN. As with O&D, well they got the whalejet on the morning and evening flight and a 773 on the arvo

The QF-EK partnership has been approved by the ACCC, however the ACCC is proposing a shorter 5 year partnership, rather than 10.
