Because we have tried it and figured out your strategy is unsustainable in the long run, no point wasting our time.

Because AE3 is so broken he can't fix a problem without introducing even more new problems.

@Capt Wilkerson: Check out the "rules". ALL THAT YUXI NEED DO IS TO ADD A RULE...ANY PLAYER WHO TAKES ADVANTAGE OF A KNOWN "BUG" THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED SUCH AS THE PRICING "BUG" OR SCAM IFE OR PAYING UNIVERSAL $7 HOURLY SALARIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Until that time, it ain't cheating.

 
That rule already exists, with administrator discretion:

Any player who finds an exploit in the game (e..g the ability to hack in values outside the normal game interface) is obligated to report it, either by contacting an administrator or posting in the bug tracker. Anyone who uses this kind of exploit (publicly posted or not) to gain an unfair advantage or circumvent restrictions will be treated as a cheater and penalized accordingly. Penalties include deletion of the offending airline, suspension of the player account, and so on.

Just a message here for iquit, we haven't tried to kill Zing's airlines, you have . I wasn't aware of the player or their airlines before this.

I've not been very engaged in AE's forums. My understanding of a "SPAM AIRLINE" is one in which a player, utilizing a single aircraft, opens up something like 15-20 different routes & sets airfares to the extreme. The frequency on the routes is one a week. Is that the correct depiction of a "SPAM AIRLINE"? What I am detailing, does not fit that description. All of my initial frequencies are set to once a day. 

 

Regarding what is termed "SCAM IFE"...that can't be an infraction---per AE rules---due to it being at the discretion of the player. The player might wish to have extremely poor IFE, yet charge the maximum for it. 

 

In regards to "bugs", a "bug" tracker exists...& we are all urged to report a bug (just as I did when I discovered the airfare "bug" 1+ years ago)....yet, if the AE COMMUNITY doesn't have a listing of the known "bugs" that can influence "fairness"---specifically the pricing "bug"...how is a player exploiting the "bug" if they are taking advantage of it? I "stumbled" upon it when I opted to compete on a route in the early stages of a game...up to that time I had just made slight fare increases & kept 100% capacity...the other airline on the route was charging outrageous fares. So, instead of competing on the route, I opened a new route with no competition on it & greatly inflated the fares & it worked, I had 100% capacity & wild profits. I disagree that the method that I have played can't be sustained---ultimately competition will come to all of the routes---yet before that I have stockpiled so much $$$ and ordered so many aircraft & have a valuation so much greater than all other airlines, that simply matching them in price will yield identical profits & not cut into my stockpile of $$$. Perhaps you are correct....I will try playing for an extended period in the next world to be re-set & will update via this thread & allow everybody & anybody access to the airline.

If you did this on my server I would ask my alliance to help me set up tons of routes directly in competition to you. Because we are sustainable we could hold out for much longer than you ever could.

even though this guy/girl has over 400 dc-7 aircraft on two airline's as an ae player. i have found a glitche but not abusing it like this player. how does the glitch work. you have to have:

2 computers 

a world with 2 or more airline limt

a world going longer than 1 month lest

so you start both airlines up then chose your starting aircraft which would be the dc-7 then the person would t bankrupt one arilne then go on the used market with the other airline on the other computer and get it therefore get planes quickly and fast espically

How is that cheating. That is also my trick I use and a cheap trick I use (I don't like it but I use it to maintain my position in the top 5 as much as I can). I do buy brand new planes to maintain my reputation here and there. But I have a tendency to go into the used planes market. Because I had so much money (between 10-26 billion, because I was number 1 in my game world for nearly 20 game years before the world reset as time ran up) I bought nearly several hundred Boeing 747s. Destroyed the guys where were at the top 2-20th spot by finding what routes they used to go into the country I am based out of and charged the passengers OD Cheap while the on flight stuff was OD expensive. Made a huge profit via online stuff while driving those who were below me into a crisis where they never recovered where I prospered. So if you want to make a lot of money quick and at the same time ruin your rivals, you charge cheap for tickets and charge OD expensive for the on flight accessories. Very quick way to earn alot and make sure you fly alot via those routes that your competitors are using to drive them out. if they operate out of the same airport use this strategy as much as you can. Fly to many places and once they try to use the same strategy against you, you fly more and more. Make so unprofitable that they will have to fold.
