can we make ae caps friendly coz seriously typing in JFK doesn't yield any results, unless this has been changed and i am unaware?

I thought that was just on the base selection page when you create an airline? I'm pretty sure when you open a route you can search in capitals?

no, no, no, no, no....

if theres going to be all this energy burnt up working on something that would be humongously helpfull. add the distance or miles from to the arrival side of the route management screen. or even trade out the open slots inplace of distance. really, i'm willing to bet that when it comes down to it. more players then not would rather have the distance added to the arrival filter then to have to wonder if their airpot has a weather station or not...

IATA ? ICAO ? who cares ? ?

do something good that let's me NOT have to use a paper and pen ever time my airline get's better then 50 routes......

please.

Let me help you out here: Distance is included at the top of a routes detail page (e.g. LAX-JFK (2469 miles)). Distance filtering is included when you use the browse gates or add routes using the aircraft menu. I'm not quite sure why they don't use the same page, but...

Open slots is a necessity to ensure that you can operate a route. No slots = no flights.

IATA and ICAO are not weather stations, they are ways of identifying airports quickly and easily. IATA codes are easier to recognize (e.g. London Heathrow is LHR) than ICAO (EGLL), but more peaople know IATA. Being able to filter by using the codes you are more familiar with will enable you work more quickly and efficiently.

If you are using paper and pen to manage your airline, please read the wiki and the FAQs. You are most likely doing something seriously wrong.

I thought that was just on the base selection page when you create an airline? I'm pretty sure when you open a route you can search in capitals?

Nope, IATA codes are not searchable when you use caps.
