I've noticed a disturbing lack of classical music on here, so I've decided to post one of my favourites, the all too well known and familiar 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky

As Steve has spectacularly brought the tone up - one of my favourites there, too, Steve - I thought I'd drop in something else:


From the Turin Winter Olympics in 2006, it is one of the last, if not the last, performances by the big man Pavarotti himself. An absolutely wonderful version of a truly emotional piece - Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot.

I defy any normal man with functioning ears to listen and not have shivers down their spine.

Great choice, Agre. "O Fortuna" is my favourite part of that piece. Everyone knows the part at 3:10!

Autotuned? Yes, I know. However this video, along with the other videos in the series, has way more meaning than any pop song :P
