Use this topic to post your Airline Operation Milestones in the R5 World to keep everyone informed. Please don't flood the post with every aircraft lease or purchase you make but let everyone know about any new HUB, terminal, connecting route, large fleet orders, etc. A weekly summary would be great to have.

Kingfisher Airlines is continually expanding its services from its initial base in Delhi. The airline is in the process of taking deliveries of 50 Airbus A320s and 20 Boeing 737s. The airline holds options for 100 more A320s and 80 more Boeing 737s. Kingfisher Airlines will announce a second base at Mumbai after it has fully established its operations at Delhi. It will also be investing in a terminal at Delhi to control costs.

A top official also mentioned that the airline is studying widebody offerings from both Airbus and Boeing for service to Europe and North America from Delhi and Mumbai.

Kingfisher Airlines strives to be India's top airline and offer the best service in the sky with it's spacious planes, 5 star in-flight service, and 5 star in-flight entertainment.

Air Scotland is changing its fleet from Boeing 733s to Airbus A320s to keep up with demand unfortunatly the airline had to pull out of the GLA-LHR route due to competition however this allowed the making of 2 new routes, GLA-LTN and GLA-Stansted with the Aircraft that was flying on the previous route.

Air Manila has just made a large order for 10 A340-200's, 2 A320-200's and 3 747-400's. Air Manila has dumped plans for 767's and instead is interested in ordering some A330-300's. The airline currently has 35 aircraft and 30 on order.
