I agree with steve, but those aircraft look... too shiny. :| Care to enlighten me?

Have you ever seen those illustrated aircraft prints? Stick it into google images and you'll see what I'm aiming at.

For some reason, the shine layer on your planes looks pixelated and rather blotchy, especially near the tail of the plane.

Although I can definitely see where you were going on the amount of gloss to the paint of the plane, I think you may need to increase the transparency of that layer a tad. Otherwise, great template and liveries!

Cheers, Porter, but how can you say they're 'great' when to you there's something wrong with them? To me, something can only be great once it's close enough to perfect as whatever it is can be.

In regards to the gloss, I've been told countless times to turn it down, however to me it looks odd without being as heavy, and hence I've always kept it at my preferred 17.5% opacity. :P

Note that I didn't say perfect? :P

The blotch that I specifically talking about is directly under the Dreamliner logo. The only other nitpick thing I can come up with is that the tail cone paint on your Atlantic plane looks almost burgundy in color, instead of the normal Venetian red they normally seem to be. That, and the shine on the nose cone almost looks like it should be tapered more into a point. But honestly, I think I'm trying to come up with any other issues.

Really, it's a great design, so take the damn compliment. :P

(Side note: wonder what the engine would look like in red?)

Seems my work is not only being talked about here at AE now; someone has kindly posted my work on airliners.net (scroll to reply 180) http://www.airliners...d.main/5429228/ :P

That said, it was an utterly crap livery so I don't know why I'm showing off :P

Just to clarify, by the way, I refuse to use other people's templates as a matter of principle. I consider my templates to be superior to those currently available anyway.

Do you, or do you not, refer to the templates you've shaded as your own, Agre? :P
