Rebrand for Oahu Air.
As I'm sure one can tell, the design was very much so inspired by Hawaiian Airlines and Jetstar.

I just noticed the new JAL livery. I can't think of a worse livery right now. Your liveries are the best as usual Speed Bird.

The new JAL Livery may be ugly, but at least they were smart and brought the Tsuru back

I agree. Seems a bit too elaborate for my tastes...

I think it would be good if it wasn't for the front, the front/nose just pushes the boundaries slightly too far. But that's just my opinion.

Right there Are a few problems in my mind... 1) the text looks a bit off centre 2) ire text contrasts a taste to much perhaps make it a bit darker 3) the to t looks like Arual and that font is soooo overused now
Otherwise absolutely fantastic I love the designs at th front and rear of the plane

AS, the type face is most certainly not 'Arual', and frankly I'm shocked that you think it is. I've actually 'stolen' the new typeface used by Virgin Atlantic and Australia, simply by taking the letters from images and logos and in actual fact created my own 'font'. The text is not off center; it is dead central between the end of the floral pattern to the left and the edge of the 'aircraft' to the right. The slogan is purposely in such a vibrant colour as this is one part of the design I wished not to be subtle. Red to me is a rather 'sexy' colour to use, precisely what is intended with the meaning of the slogan itself. It's meant to be more 'in your face' shall we say, the item that draws attention to the aircraft initially. And personally, I rather like red text upon a clean, white/grey background.

I know the font. I think it's something Futura on 7.
I've stated already, the typeface is that used by Virgin Atlantic; the name of which I don't believe is known.

Again I can see what you're getting at with this livery, but I'm afraid it looks a bit cheap to me
Maybe because its based at LCY, and when I think of LCY I think of business which means a mellowed out design. I don't know, there's just too much going on for my taste.

'Cheap', Steve? I certainly can't see where you're coming from there at all; to be quite honest it's pretty much the exact opposite of cheap to me. I can understand you not liking the overall impression, but 'cheap'? Absolutely not. It may be your opinion, but frankly I think you're very wrong there.

Heres what I think.
Disclaimer- I'm not a graphics expert. My expertise is CAD and other things..
Its a very good livery, the details amaze me But imo it doesnt fit the airport.
It is too elaborate I think for the base of the airline and my tastes.
Thats my opinion.
